[Prince of Tennis] The Wager

A question went viral on the relationship board of Rikkai Dai's campus forum.

What kind of girl would Sanada Genichiro like?

The answers were all over the place. Some people even opened a betting pool.

Some guessed he would like the gentle, traditional Japanese type. Others said an adorable, soft girl would be perfect for the contrast. One junior who didn't want to give his name genuinely wondered: The vice-captain is so scary. Can he really find a girlfriend?

Yagyu Hiroshi's anonymous reply was buried beneath thousands of posts.

Later, Sanada Genichiro got a partner.

That reply kept getting bumped by hand, always hovering somewhere between the sofa and the floor of this skyscraper thread.

His answer was: a black-bean-paste bun.

The junior didn't understand what he meant.

Yagyu kindly explained: It looks soft and fair on the outside, but when you cut it open, it's black inside.

In other words, she had Sanada completely wrapped around her finger.

I swear this is a short story.
