Everyday Romance with Kenma the Cat

Coming soon: "[Haikyuu!!] Oikawa Couldn't Sleep All Night." See the details in my profile. -3- Blurb: That's right, I transferred schools. I saw that pudding-head slowly lift his gaze, and a forgotten memory suddenly came rushing back. During summer vacation when I was eight, Kuroo brought his new friend over to my house to (make me) play (suffer). It was love at first sight: my own aloof cat, who usually wouldn't give me the time of day, fell for a boy who seemed just as cold. Jealousy changed my face beyond recognition. The girl who was hated by cats let out a sound of envy. The sound of envy: holding back tears in grievance, sniffling. Kenma, who had somehow made her cry the first time they met: ...? I really want to escape. The rest of the afternoon, Kuroo and Kenma kept me company (and were forced) to play house, taking turns as a villainous young lady, a demon king, and a servant. I was the demon king, Kuroo was the servant, and my new friend was the villainous young lady. So elegant! Absolutely elegant! Back to the present: The teacher pointed to the empty seat beside Kenma. "Then, Sakurai, you can sit there." * Reader's guide: * OOC! OOC! (See the cover for the degree of OOC. No critiques, please =v=) * Little Haikyuu!! content, all artificial sweetness. * A product of cat harassment. * Cheerful, affectionate dog girl x socially anxious gaming shut-in cat Below is the blurb for my upcoming Haikyuu!! story "Oikawa Couldn't Sleep All Night." Thank you for your support! Mayu's point of view Life in Miyagi Prefecture moves at a gentle, unhurried pace. My grandparents lovingly tend their flower shop, and I have drama club friends who share my interests... Life is lovely and fulfilling. Until the start of my second year of high school, when the volleyball club's hugely popular heartthrob sat down beside me. I immediately mourned the peaceful school life I was about to lose, because he was glaring at me fiercely. I had a pretty good idea why. He was the frivolous guy people on the school forum complained about, the one who accepted Valentine's chocolate cookies from everyone and then gave them to his teammates. He'd once tried to hit on me with a clumsy pickup line, and I'd thoroughly called him out! Seriously, who still uses "Have we met before?" as an opening line these days? Oikawa's point of view Mayu is a girl as beautiful as a doll I picked up this information by chance from the boys' gossip behind my back, but it didn't make much of an impression on me at the time. On the eve of the school festival, I brushed past a doll in heavy stage makeup and blurted out, "Have we met before?" She gave me a strange look, then finally managed to say, "I know you. You're the frivolous guy from the volleyball team. Thanks, but no thanks." I froze on the spot. Not only because she'd inexplicably called me a frivolous guy, but also because the doll's voice had accompanied me into countless dreams over many sleepless nights. ...Damn it. I want to see when she'll finally remember me. Reader's guide: * Volleyball setter x musical theater actress * Also known as: "Welcome to Aoba Johsai Romantic Academy." What comes to mind when you hear that the heroine does musical theater? The Lorelei of the choir club and the drama club!! A crossover with the cast of Nozaki-kun. Don't worry about the details; just imagine the schools merged into one romantic academy (laughs brightly, showing all my teeth (?)) * OOC! OOC! Theme: May everything be bright and life be lovely.
