Moonrise

The heroine is Han A Chao (the first tone), and the hero is Wei Han.

After being born into this world, Han A Chao became a penniless orphan. Her adoptive mother died in an accident, and she ended up making a living fighting in the ring.

By chance, she met the refined and courteous legitimate son of the Wei family, and fell for him at first sight. She followed him through the Wei family's gates, but just as they were about to marry, one misfortune after another struck.

After the swordsmen's organization kidnapped her, all she could think about was escaping and finding the handsome young man who had come looking for her. But in the blink of an eye, everything had changed. In just a few months, he was going to marry into a prominent family.

Han A Chao was disheartened. After destroying the swordsmen's organization, she was imprisoned due to an accident. With less than a year before the poison in her body took effect, she decided to stake everything on guarding the frontier on the far northern plateau.

When the prison guard was registering volunteers for border duty, she said coldly, "I'll go."

The far northern plateau was covered in mountains of ice that never melted. Convicts either froze or starved to death on the journey into exile. It was truly a living hell. The guard's hand shook, and he stammered, "Y-you... have you really thought this through?"

Han A Chao snatched the seal paste from his hand and pressed her thumb onto the form.
