The Cousin Miss's Daily Theatrics

Everyone knows that Miss Liu Shushu, the visiting cousin in the second branch of the Yong'an Marquis's household, is beautiful, kindhearted, and frail, the very picture of Xi Shi clutching her chest.

Only Liu Shushu herself knows that she's been punished by the Peach Blossom System and forced into Maiden Mode!

If Liu Shushu doesn't interact with the men detected by the System, she's forced to be "frail and sickly," to have "no appetite," and so on.

So, in the eyes of Qi Haichuan, heir to the Yong'an Marquis,

One moment: His cousin says she has no appetite.

The next: His cousin opens her enormous maw.

One moment: His cousin says she feels unwell.

The next: She's off horseback riding and playing polo.

Qi Haichuan even catches Liu Shushu dumping a man.

One moment: The woman, eyes red, says, "Wu Lang, I'm sorry. I've fallen in love with that useless Qi Haichuan..."

The next: The woman slams her head against the wall, cursing, "Are these men ever going to give it a rest?!"

After a long struggle, just as Liu Shushu reaches level eight and escapes the restrictions of Maiden Mode, Qi Haichuan bullies and lures her into marriage, trapping her on a one-way road.

Everyone in the capital knows that the Yong'an Marquis's heir is weak and useless, unable to accomplish anything.

But after getting married, this nobody suddenly becomes a rising star among the noble families, and even his conduct changes completely. He's now utterly ruthless.

Only Qi Haichuan knows that in his household, he has a theatrical lady of the house who keeps trying to put horns on him.

Whenever she doesn't get what she wants, the lady of the house flirts with the young masters around the estate and won't let him interfere.

If he doesn't take a firm hand, he fears he'll end up with a whole row of trees growing on his head.

So Qi Haichuan tries his hardest to prove himself.

Before long, Liu Shushu clings to him and cries, "Husband, I was wrong. I'll never play cards with the young masters at the estate again."

Qi Haichuan calmly ties his sash and says, "I know."

He knows she was only playing cards.

Liu Shushu's face stiffens. "Huh?"
