Sui Changlin believed in the code of the martial world. He had promised Xuan Mocheng that if he won, he would personally bury him beside Wang Songting beneath Jiuyu Mountain. As Sui Changlin dug the grave, he never expected Xuan Mocheng, who had faked his death, to kick him into it, then quickly bury the righteous light with only his head poking out.

The two had a friendly exchange.

"Righteous light? Hah! You drugged my wine. What kind of light is that? The dark side?"

"Ahem, Sect Leader Xuan, everyone in the world knows I won. If you suddenly come back to life, I'll lose face."

"So I have to die just to save your face? Who are you to me? Why should I put up with you?"

"Promise me you won't show up in the martial world, and I'll pretend I buried you. Deal?"

"No."

After being reborn, Xuan Mocheng was surprised to find himself helping his master choose new disciples. Wait a minute, who's that dried-up radish in the back? Isn't that the righteous light?

Xuan Mocheng tossed the clueless Sui Changlin into the little pond in the back courtyard to scrub him clean, then bundled him into bed.

"No."

"The Dragon Yang Divine Art! What do you think? Scared yet?"

Sui Changlin blinked, then suddenly smiled. "I never knew there was someone else in the world who practiced the Dragon Yang Divine Art! Senior Brother, let's get started!"

Why did he get reborn?

"Fine, it was me! I did it!" To correct his mistakes, the cult leader had to go back in time and find a way to control Sui Changlin again. He realized Sui Changlin cared a great deal about Xuan Mocheng, so controlling Xuan Mocheng would work just as well.
