[Western Crossover] How a Vigilante Can Save the World

[Already completed. Please don't read this old, embarrassing work by mistake.] Jessica Todd, former second Robin, former Arkham Knight, died at the age of eighteen. After her death, she signed a contract with the Main God and became a diligent wage slave. After completing 99 missions, Jessica began her final assignment: save a world on the brink of destruction due to a merger. Jessica: I'll quit as soon as I finish today's work. * The new superhero who appeared during the Battle of New York was called the Kamen Rider. Her mechanical mask covered only half her face, leaving her right eye exposed, where an undying flame burned. She followed in the wake of calamity, with fire filling her gun and frost staining her blade. She prowled the spaces between the brightest light and the deepest dark, offering fallen lives a requiem. The Avengers: Is she a new superhero? Heroes really do come in all ages. The Justice League: She looks so familiar. I feel like I've seen her somewhere. The Batfamily: ...Jason?!!!!! Jason Todd: Don't look at me! I didn't get a sex change! * Jessica had planned to quietly complete her mission and spend her free time cuddling up to her counterpart. But by a twist of fate, the Batfamily's souls merged with those of their counterparts from the AK universe, and they regained their memories. Jessica: This is really unnecessary. The Arkham Knight is long dead. My current codename is Calamity Knight. The big Bat and the birdies: *another blow to the heart.jpg* Jason “Mind My Own Business” Todd: *happily watching the drama* Jessica: No, that's not what I meant... Sigh, just don't let it interfere with my mission. The last bit of stubborn pride a wage slave has is making sure every mission is completed flawlessly! * “Hero? I'm no hero. Stop calling me that. I don't have hearts as noble as yours, or ideals as lofty as yours. I uphold justice in its universal sense, but I'll never have the shining heart you imagine.” “I respect superheroes, but I can never become one. If you have to call me something, then call me an antihero.” “I will save people by any means necessary. Even if my spine is shattered, my convictions will remain unshaken.” * Coming soon: *[Western Crossover] Starting a Tycoon Game from Scratch* Male protagonist, no romance. Blurb: During summer vacation, a player tries a mobile tycoon game. Starting with a rundown tavern, the goal is to make money and build a fortune until they become the richest person in the world. The graphics are gorgeous and the story moves at a brisk pace, but the difficulty is a little high. At the beginning of the game, the tavern gets trashed every few days, wasting all the player's hard work. After much reflection, the player decides not to neglect security and opens the recruitment system, heading straight for the bodyguard page. [System prompt: You recruited SR card Roy Harper, Quickdraw (can evolve)] [System prompt: You recruited SR card Second Robin, Damaged Version (can evolve)] [System prompt: You recruited SSR card Princess Starfire] [Friendly reminder: Once the first two cards evolve, they can be combined with the third card to create the SP card Outlaws, unlocking the Dark Web module.] Player: Wasn't this supposed to be a tycoon game? Is this just another reskinned gacha game??? Well, what's done is done. With that in mind, the player sacrifices their liver, suffering and enjoying every minute of it. By the end of summer vacation, the player successfully reaches an ending. Unfortunately, they don't manage to turn the tavern into a springboard to becoming Gotham's richest person. But... Looking at the list of achievements: [Night Watchman] [Scythe of Order] [Flowers Blooming on White Bones] [Throne of Thorns]... The player falls silent. * A new urban legend has spread through Gotham. If you walk into an alley at midnight and get lucky, you might find a tavern. There, if you offer up part of your soul, you can speak with the devil. It will guide you. * The player opens the game and notices a little speech bubble over the head of the customer sitting at the bar. The player clicks the bubble, and a melodramatic message pops up. After hesitating for a moment, the player assumes they've found an Easter egg and pulls up the keyboard to type a couple of cynical pep talks into the dialogue box. A few days later, the player sees the same customer again. There's still a little speech bubble over his head. They click it and read: “Thank you. I've become the King of Gotham.” Player: ??? * Bruce Wayne has a friend, someone who stood by him through his darkest days, from when he was a rookie vigilante to the Batman who strikes fear into the night. So even though this friend is a little strange, Bruce still treasures him. Until one day, Bruce discovers that his friend is also friends with a lot of other people: those who fly through the sky, run across the land, swim through the sea, and everyone from all walks of life. Superheroes and supervillains of every kind. Bruce: So I'm the fish all along? * When summer vacation ends, Servis heads off to his new university with his luggage, then freezes at the airport, ticket in hand. Servis: Which city did my tavern in the game open in again? Note: The story follows a mastermind villain. Villains are made respectable; those who can't be made respectable are cremated. The protagonist never loses their air of imposing coolness. They're neutral in matters of order and appeal to both heroes and villains. The first half focuses mainly on the tycoon game; after the protagonist heads to Gotham, the main plot takes over. Theme: Who says only those standing in the light can be heroes?
