Abduction and forced love, tragic love and bitter feuds, over-the-top melodrama, old-school angst, and playboy scumbags. I only read happy endings. Keeping a record of different flavors to mix things up.
A Fan of Men Saving Women
I like stories where the male lead helps the female lead heal. I don’t like age gaps, and I’m not into gentle, gentlemanly male leads. Five-star books are ones I absolutely love. I haven’t fully subscribed to some stories because their bonus chapters feel too repetitive.

I prefer angsty melodramas with happy endings, but sometimes I read pure fluff with no angst.

I still prefer stories where the female lead suffers more before the male lead gets his redemption. It's not that I'm a male-lead stan; I just relate more easily to the female lead's suffering, and it makes me physically ache,
Multi-Genre BG Angsty Fiction
Second chances after a breakup, regretful exes chasing their wives, life in a tiny rental, aloof beauties, height and build differences, daddy types, older women and younger men, and more. (I'll add more as I think of them. I just love a bit of melodrama.)
Stories Where Men Suffer
I like stories that emotionally torment the male lead. As long as he gets put through the wringer, it's a good book to me. I'm not a heroine fan. The writing comes first.
Younger Brothers
When I was young, I liked mature men. Now that I’m a mature woman myself, I’ve realized how great younger guys are. I’ll live out what I can’t have in real life through novels!
My Rereads
I rarely reread stories. For one reason or another, I usually don't have the patience to read them a second time. So the ones that make me want to reread them are really special to me.

I like good writing, good plots, strong chemistry, and stories that make sense. I can't stand heroines who are constantly being watched by cameras, or ones who get shared by a bunch of men and are smug about it... There are a few more conventional ones too (?)
