He's Gloomy and Obsessive

When Su Qingci was diagnosed with a terminal illness, he thought it was karma. He was gloomy and obsessive, madly in love with Pei Jingchen. He used threats and inducements to force Pei Jingchen to be with him. He was sharp-tongued and jealous, forbidding Pei Jingchen from making too many friends. He constantly checked up on him and made a scene if he came home even a little late. So he deserved to be hated by Pei Jingchen. Su Qingci gazed at the man's cold, hard features and icy eyes, and tried to make him pity him. "I'm sick." The man scoffed. "Make up a better story this time." Su Qingci gave a bitter laugh. Never mind. It was all his fault. He decided to break up and give Pei Jingchen his freedom. * Pei Jingchen knew Su Qingci well. He would do anything to get his attention. Pei Jingchen ignored him and focused on his own career. But when he returned to the country, triumphant after securing a contract worth hundreds of millions, he learned that Su Qingci had been admitted to the ICU... After half a month of emergency treatment, Su Qingci survived, but he was listless and frail. Pei Jingchen moved into his home. He did his laundry, cooked for him, cleaned the house, brought him water and clothes, and made sure he took his medicine on time. Su Qingci didn't want to take it. So Pei Jingchen used a special method to get it into him. By the time they were done, they were both panting and utterly exhausted. Su Qingci closed his eyes. "Why go to all this trouble?" Pei Jingchen wiped the medicine from the corner of his mouth. "Didn't you say you'd cling to me forever? The fortune-teller said I'll live to be ninety." When they were young, Pei Jingchen talked for ages to the boy hiding beneath the slide. At last, he held out his hand and finally drew the shy, fragile boy out. Pei Jingchen understood that when the boy reached out his hand, he was giving his whole self to him, too.
