Instinctive Affection

Seven-year-old Lin Kexu was dumped at Gu Xing's house by his own mother, after which she disappeared without a trace.

Lin Kexu kept firmly in mind the rules for surviving under someone else's roof.

One: Eat less.

Gu Xing looked at the short, skinny little dumpling and kept piling meat into his bowl.

He had talked for ages to the boy under the bed. At last, he reached out his hand and finally pulled the shy, fragile boy out.
