[My next novels will be I Ask the West Tower What It Means, Surely Nobody Thinks Pretending to Be a Green Tea Is Hard, and Give In [Healing]. I'm really short on follows, so please add them to your collections, sob. The blurbs are below~]
Huo You Ning was sickly from childhood. After dying, she transmigrated into an 1980s Hong Kong novel as a brainless rich heiress and got a gossip System. She keeps herself busy face-slapping villains and building her career!
When her stepsister tries to steal her rich fiance:
[Host, let her have him! Your cheap fiance has a congenital deficiency that makes him unable to have children, and a whole bunch of rumored girlfriends. Give him to her, all of him!]
When her stepmother tries to force her to buy a property under Huo You Ning's company:
[Host, assets will shrink in the 1987 stock market crash. Sell it to her at a high price now and she'll go bankrupt later! Oh, and she's already buried in debt!]
When she's forced to take over a lousy entertainment company:
[Host, you're destined for success! The future's three biggest stars are under your company! You'll create the Queen of Innocence! What are you waiting for? Go make a fortune!]
Huo You Ning obediently agrees: All right, I'll do as the System says.
Then she lies back in comfort and coasts to victory, counting money until her hands cramp.
One day, she and the System are gossiping again: [Host, the villain Fu Yun Yi has had a terrible time in the book. A project fell through, and his rival has him cornered. He's about to be killed on the streets of Mong Kok, and his family is scheming to steal his enormous fortune...]
The next moment, Huo You Ning puts down her milk tea with black tapioca pearls: What did you say?!
An hour later, dozens of Porsches block the streets of Mong Kok. A Black Hawk helicopter circles overhead, and a grand procession of bodyguards follows Huo You Ning as she goes to rescue Fu Yun Yi.
Only after seeing that Fu Yun Yi, one of Hong Kong's wealthiest and most powerful men, has suffered only a minor injury does she breathe a sigh of relief.
But the big shot watches her warily. Huo You Ning can only timidly threaten him: Do you own this street? Have you never seen anyone out for a walk? ... What's wrong with passing through here?!
System: [Host, you're so brave! This big shot has several lives on his hands. Aren't you afraid he'll take you out?]
Fu Yun Yi: ...Anyone who didn't know better would think you were here to fight terrorists. Wait, when did I have several lives on my hands? And who's talking?
And so the big shot joins in on the gossip, discovering a whole new world.
Later, Huo You Ning becomes his wife. With the wealth she amasses through the gossip System, she has enough gold and silver to last ten lifetimes.
Fu Yun Yi completely turns around his tragic fate from the book. His success never fades, and he spoils Huo You Ning to no end. They become Hong Kong's model couple, envied by countless people :)
From then on, everyone in Hong Kong knows Fu Yun Yi's golden rule: I only listen to my wife. Everything I earn is for her to spend however she likes~

1. I Ask the West Tower What It Means - Modern romance, anti-drug police officer x traditional Chinese medicine practitioner
After eight years apart, Lu Xi Lou never imagined that this would be how he and Ye Song Lan met again.
His drug addiction flared up, and he collapsed in front of her, looking terribly haggard and disfigured. She was astonished to see him, probably unable to understand how her once-arrogant ex-boyfriend had ended up like this.
But in the end, she still used her frail shoulders to help him up and gave him acupuncture treatment.
At first, Lu Xi Lou couldn't understand why she was living in such a remote backwater. He was also surprised that she knew traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, and did so much good for the local villagers.
It wasn't until one day, as she was on her way to give the villagers free medical care, that she suddenly lost her footing and fell toward a cliff. After that, she could never stand again... Only then did he learn she had ALS.
"Lu Xi Lou, when you broke up with me that year, I hated you. But later, when I found out I was sick, I was glad you'd broken up with me first. If you'd seen me struggling in such a miserable state, you definitely would have looked down on me."
"Lu Xi Lou, be strong. You're a hero. Surely you can kick a mere drug addiction?"
"Lu Xi Lou, after I die, remember to donate my corneas so someone else can see this beautiful, vibrant world for me."
"Lu Xi Lou, goodbye. I hope the rest of your life goes well."
- A bunch of Song Lan flowers before your grave, and may I find you again in the next life.
- Explicitly stated: short story with a tragic ending; an old romance rekindled
- A tribute to anti-drug police officers and a salute to traditional Chinese medicine
- Acupuncture cannot cure drug addiction; it can only ease neurological symptoms
3. Give In [Healing]
Lu Zhuo Xing is a third-year law student at Z University, a top scholar who is usually quiet but always means what he says. He's also a star in all kinds of debate competitions, and his merciless tongue can scare people to tears.
One day, he and a few roommates were coming back from outside when they saw a girl recklessly dash across the road, seemingly unable to hear a nearby truck honking deafeningly as it sped toward her.
He saved her in the nick of time, pulling her to safety before immediately launching into a tirade: "If you want to die, go somewhere else. Even if the driver had hit and killed you, he wouldn't have committed a traffic crime. Don't try to be clever and end up worse off."
"S-sorry, classmate. Could you say that again? I-I can't hear very well. I couldn't make out what you just said."
By the time the girl in the faded white dress finished speaking, she was so anxious she had started crying. The more she wiped her tears, the more they came, and she couldn't stop them.
Lu Zhuo Xing was speechless when he saw the conspicuous, jarring cochlear implant on her ear.
That night, he suddenly woke from a dream, guilt-ridden, and slapped himself twice. All he could think of was that girl, eyes red from crying.
They met again when he was helping a senior student deliver a cake to her. He was in a hurry and didn't realize who she was at first. When he heard her ask if he could bring it up to the fifth floor of the teaching building, his temper immediately flared: "No. Take it or leave it."
Fifteen minutes later, he watched her appear on the stairs, hobbling along with a simple crutch, drenched in sweat, her eyes red as if she'd been crying again. His heart felt as if someone had squeezed it hard.
All she said was, "Thanks for bringing me the cake, classmate. It's my birthday today, so I'm sharing some of my good luck with you too~" As she spoke, she really did hand him a carefully made little gift.
That night, he woke from a dream in the middle of the night again. With one hand clutching the ceramic doll she'd given him, he slapped himself twice with the other.
I'm not even human, he thought.
Later, after they finally overcame countless obstacles and got together, he learned that she had a condition that made her cry uncontrollably whenever her emotions ran high. On the night they made their relationship official, he couldn't resist holding her close and kissing her. Pressing his lips to her ear, he said slowly, word by word: "When you want to cry, scratch me a little. Let me know just how much you like me."
--Then I'll kiss away your tears and love you twice as much.
- Also known as The Male Lead Keeps Slapping Himself (?).
- Male lead is an aspiring prosecutor; female lead is an inheritor of various forms of intangible cultural heritage.
- The male lead is a cautious sort with a strong sense of self-protection (law students are all careful), so he has a sharp tongue early on but is actually softhearted.
- The heroine has sensorineural hearing loss, which will later improve. She also has a condition that makes her cry uncontrollably when her emotions get too intense (she can't control it).
- I just want to express that our people really do have a compassionate side: always kind, always upright.
- Oh~ There will definitely be all kinds of legal knowledge in the story, including criminal law and civil law~
Theme: You can change yourself and find love at the same time.
This is too much to explain, so I'll leave it in my speech.
Can the explanation be given when the author has something to say, ~, the explanation is a bit confusing
These Cantonese words are quite common and easy to guess. Do things like Young and Dangerous Pig's Knuckles still need to be marked? It's superfluous.
The mobile version looks like the table of contents is too dazzling. It is recommended that all the chapter table of contents be sorted out before Chapter V, otherwise it will not attract people and it will be a headache to click.
It is obviously the female protagonist's own family matter, but the male protagonist is allowed to take the lead in the whole process, and the female protagonist is responsible for making jokes with the system. Didn't feel the humor.
Why does the male protagonist need to talk to that big boss? Just like what is written in the article. □□The boss thinks that this is the male protagonist's own knowledge, so does the favor belong to the male protagonist? But this is originally the female protagonist's knowledge, and the female protagonist should be allowed to speak. In this way, the favor belongs to the female protagonist, and it will be easier to cooperate in the future.
Should I say it or not, Huo Jiayi is in really good health
Can't the heroine get a bodyguard? She'll be violently injured every day. . .
There are systems interspersed in it, and the male and female protagonists' mental activities look a bit chaotic.
The female protagonist has a feeling of being both playful and fun-loving, and she can't do anything without the male protagonist.
