[Western Crossover] After My Romance With the Brooding Reverse-Order Mi Went Down in Flames

Froil had no idea why she'd suddenly started following Damian Wayne, the new transfer student in her department. She knew perfectly well he was someone she absolutely couldn't afford to provoke.

But how could she ignore the fact that he skipped class eight days out of ten and still ranked first in the department, snatching away the scholarship she depended on to survive?

He had a strange air about him, never looked anyone in the eye, and had even stepped on her foot without apologizing, making her hate him even more.

What she hated most was the day she suddenly saw him vanish behind a wall without a trace.

A monster like that... Surely he wasn't human. She had to keep a close eye on him. Maybe she'd find inspiration for her next paper.

Anyway, when she came to her senses, she found herself tailing his million-dollar limited-edition luxury car on a rickety old bike, with a mouthful of exhaust fumes for her trouble.

Yuck!

And... worse still, she actually stumbled upon her transfer student classmate at a murder scene! While he was covering up the evidence... he accidentally caught her spying, clamped a hand around her throat, and decided to kill her too!

Help!

"W-Wayne, I brought you... a love letter!" Thinking quickly, she pulled out a job application and acted her heart out. "You... you were so terrifying just now, and I... I like you even more!"

Damian's blood-covered hand finally loosened from her throat. His dark green eyes gleamed with amusement. "Really? Prove it."

To save her life, Froil squeezed her eyes shut in anguish and kissed him on the lips. "You're the only one I'll kiss, darling." Ugh.

Damian's gaze turned terrifying, but the tips of his ears flushed a suspicious red. She narrowly escaped death.

...And then, for some inexplicable reason, she ended up with a psycho boyfriend named Damian!

She hated him even more!

Why did he have to keep her chained by his side whenever he killed someone?

Why did he insist that she write him a thousand words of praise after he finished killing?

Wait... why did he insist on kissing her too? Don't... don't use your tongue! You bastard!

Later, a certain friendly neighborhood Spider-Man finally saw the predicament she was in and offered to rescue her.

Froil wept with relief. All she wanted was to go home to her own world and get away from her psycho boyfriend.

But the moment she entered the time tunnel, a bat-shaped mask flashed past, and she fainted.

When she woke up, Spider-Man was gone. In his place was a batarang at her throat, while layers upon layers of webbing formed a cocoon around them, blocking out the sky.

He looked at her with a faint smile. "Like the webbing?"

"Then cry your heart out in here until I tell you to stop."
