But what can you do? Xia Yiyi has tremendous commercial value.

He's still incredibly popular.

Until Xia Yiyi took part in a paranormal reality show,

where a rival star framed him, sending him tumbling into a ravine and leaving him unconscious for seven days.

A Daoist said he was being tormented by a vengeful ghost and wouldn't wake up.

The only solution was for the ghost and him to become in-laws. Family members wouldn't make trouble for one another and might even bring each other great benefits.

Xia Yiyi's parents: Fine, we'll do as you say!

When Xia Yiyi woke up again,

a man in red wedding robes stood by the window and softly called to him, "My wife, we meet again."

Xia Yiyi: ...

Xia Yiyi has a secret.

He was sickly from childhood, and his family was too poor to afford his medical bills.

His parents took his younger brother to the city and left him in the countryside to fend for himself.

When he was burning with fever and miserable, he inexplicably saw a man in red. The man smiled gently and stroked his forehead. "Poor thing..."

Xia Yiyi opened his arms. "Are you a god? Please, save me..."

I will give you everything I have.

So,

when he met the man again, Xia Yiyi realized

this guy had come to collect interest, hadn't he?
