The Eerie First Player [Infinite]

Meng Qi has been dreaming a lot lately.

In her dreams, her ex-boyfriend Jiang Chi tells her how much he misses her.

But Jiang Chi has been missing for three years. Surveillance footage shows him vanishing into thin air in the middle of a busy street.

Meng Qi reports it to the police, but gets nowhere and can only accept reality.

Until one day,

Jiang Chi in her dream hands her an invitation.

The instant Meng Ci takes it, she is pulled into a world of infinite horror.

Flesh Buddhas, Black Guanyin, Red Ancestral Halls,

A mountain psychiatric hospital, a submerged hidden temple, a village that worships silkworm cocoons, the Everlasting Dawn District...

She conquers one challenge after another and becomes the record holder for the highest score.

At last, she uses her points to unlock the most eagerly anticipated survival item.

Meng Qi is stunned.

It's her boyfriend, who has been missing for so long.

He looks exactly the same, and even remembers their time together.

When she asks him what happened and why he disappeared,

Jiang Chi says, "Because I lost in the game, so this time, you must not lose."

Only later does Meng Qi learn that

[Best Teammate] is not an NPC who takes a bullet for you,

but a free-willed boss who is about to kill players.

If they kill a player, they can become real humans, take the player's identity, and enter the real world.

And that's how Jiang Chi died.

Killed by her.
