The Chef's Foodie Wife

After transmigrating, Ji Nianjiu became a poor girl whose gambling-addicted father had repeatedly set her up, and who was eventually married off to a chef.

Luckily, the chef was a decent man, handsome, and very considerate of her.

The only problem was that he couldn't cook, and his restaurant was struggling.

His Dongpo pork was salty enough to kill you, while his tofu-skin buns were both sour and sweet, and impossible to swallow.

At least the food looked and smelled delicious, even if it didn't taste good...

But that was all right. As a food streamer, she might not know how to cook, but she knew every step of the recipes by heart.

Before long...

Ji Nianjiu looked at her husband with an encouraging smile and got back to her old line of work. As she ate, she introduced the dishes: "These are fried pork bones, crispy fish bones, clear-broth Yue chicken, fish hot pot, chicken hot pot, charcoal-grilled meat, boiled fish, Dongpo pork..."

Customers, drawn in by the delicious-looking and fragrant food, watched Ji Nianjiu eat with such satisfaction that their mouths watered.

And so, the notoriously awful restaurant became a hit...

The young heir of the marquis's household, the prefect's daughter, and even the county yamen's constables all became regulars, staying at the restaurant and reluctant to leave.

Yan Shenghan discovered that the petite wife he'd been forced to marry was not only clever, but also had an impressive appetite. Eight bowls of rice in one meal was nothing to her.

To keep her from eating him into bankruptcy, he would have to work hard at making delicious food and fatten her up.
