[Blurb]
After twelve years in the temple, Buddhist teachings were both Shen Anxun's conviction and his code of conduct.
Twelve years later, someone suddenly entered the world Shen Anxun had thought was completely empty.
He dragged him into the mortal world.
After years of studying Buddhism, it all seemed to amount to nothing. Yet after meeting Cheng Mi, Shen Anxun's soul became whole.
"My name is Cheng Mi. The Mi means 'to seek.'"
People turn to Buddhism to move from fullness to emptiness. The vessel that holds the soul is filled with suffering, and Buddhist teachings help everything return to nothingness.
But when Shen Anxun met Cheng Mi, he moved from emptiness to fullness. This man, who had cultivated his mind and recited Buddhist prayers since childhood, found a warm human world in the other.
Everyone endures the hardships of the world, but everyone can also break free from the chains of fate and begin a new life.
See the Buddha, see all living beings, see yourself.
[Rich young master: short-tempered, cute, and reliable bottom x Buddhist disciple: cold on the outside, warm-hearted and devoted top]
[Professions: Director x Calligrapher]
[One-line summary: Watch a taciturn Buddhist devotee transform into a smooth-talking romantic who can dish out sweet nothings at the drop of a hat.]
* Notes:
1. The top and bottom are both 18 when the story begins. A comforting, healing, atypical broken-up-and-reunited coming-of-age story, with a firm 1v1 happy ending.
2. The plot has some angst. All beings suffer, and that's only natural.
3. There's no angst in the romance. Both of them can talk their way into anyone's heart, and after two chapters apart, they meet again. Maximum sweetness.
4. Life is hard, so read at your own pace. Wishing you all good luck every day.
I'm grateful you came by.
Theme: Becoming stronger in the face of an unbeatable fate.
I am so happy to be your reader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Cat's claw][cat's claw][cat's claw]
Let's end this article with these words from Teacher Yu Hua~ It corresponds to Xiao Shen's last speech [showing hands] "It's enough to just move forward. As for the direction, it's not important, because the direction always changes, but the attitude of walking forward will never change. Life is about walking and seeing." When I was a freshman, I did a psychoeducation class assignment and edited a video, which is still very impressive to this day. At the end, I used this sentence - congratulate yourself. So far, we have survived all the things that we thought would never pass. There are some things we have done, not because we should have done them, but because we are very good at them. 🤷 In the face of all hardships, the most effective way is still those three words ~ get through it! If you get through it, you will definitely usher in a new life. Because during this process, your mentality has changed and you are moving towards a stronger and more determined person [Spread Flowers] Finally, share a post to all the angels who see this together—— Life is not a fixed track | The fragrance of flowers does not bloom in a certain direction The evening bell of the mountain temple passed through the bamboo forest, startling a few jackdaws. I sat alone on the stone steps and watched the smoke rising from the incense burner and dispersing into the darkening sky. The old monk sitting next to me suddenly said: "Look at this smoke, which line does it follow?" I was silent and he smiled slightly: The same is true for people's hearts, but the world always likes to draw the ground as a prison. We have been taught since childhood to follow the established track - good grades, good jobs, good marriages, just like the boat "like a raft" in the Buddhist scriptures. It is meant to cross the river, but it is regarded as the other side itself. Those shoulds and musts form invisible ropes, binding life in the narrow river. Zen Buddhism says, "A normal mind is the way." It is like a warning, asking us to let go of our attachment to the track - it turns out that what traps us is not the world, but the mind that views the world. I am reminded of the koan about a monk from Zhaozhou going to have tea. When a student comes to ask about Buddhism, he only says, "Go and have tea." When another person comes, he still says, "Go and have tea." The master of the hospital was puzzled, but he still said: "Let's have tea." This ordinary tea bowl contained the entire wilderness of the universe. Just like the fragrance of flowers in the mountains at this moment, it does not bloom in a certain direction, but spreads quietly to the east, west, north and south, and to every gap in the wind; it does not ask where is the way back, because there is a way back everywhere. When you stop asking "where is the road?" Every step becomes the road itself. Buddhism says that "all things are impermanent", the track is a man-made fiction, and the wilderness is the reality. Those plans that we thought were solid are nothing more than dew and lightning. The Sixth Patriarch Huineng heard that "the mind should be born without abiding" and realized that this non-dwelling is the wisdom of the wilderness - it is not attached to any fixed form but can produce thousands of wonderful uses. Life is not about what you want to be, but what you "are". When going down the mountain, the moonlight filled the stone steps. The old monk's words suddenly came to mind: "When you walk, do you see the road or the moonlight?" Yes, if you stare at the track under your feet, you will miss the entire sky. The wilderness is not far away, it is present every moment when we let go of our obsessions. When the mind is no longer trapped by what should be, even breathing becomes free. Why does life need a track? The sky is vast and the earth is vast, a lotus can stand everywhere. / Thanks to "Empty and Full" for giving me a new way to see the world. Thanks to you who I love the most. In my heart, you are the most amazing one ❤️ I'll date you next time~ I'm waiting for you!
There is a sentence in the very popular book "The Moon and Sixpence" a few years ago that says, "Life is so long that it fleets. Some people see dust, others see stars." It fits what Mrs. Kobayashi once defined about lucky and unfortunate people. People who can look up and see stars in any environment and at any stage of life are probably the lucky ones. Shen Anxun also looked up, but what he was looking at was not the stars, but the traces left by the plane flying across the sky. He was looking at Cheng Mi. But it seems that he is looking at the stars, because Cheng Mi is the morning star in his heart✨ The sentence I like very, very much this year is "You are the present and the future, you don't need to apologize for the past." Whether it is Xiao Shen or Sister Mi Heyan, we don't need to apologize for the past, because the present is very precious and the future is beautiful enough ❤️ Yay! Someone, can you do the extra chapter 40 →_→!
Finished spreading flowers! This book really brought me a lot. In fact, I was a little afraid of this topic at first, because I really don't know much about Buddhist scriptures, and I even think it is a very profound thing. But Shanshan wrote this content very interestingly and vividly, and it is also easy to understand. It has been updated for several months, and it can be regarded as accompanying me through this last semester. I am really happy, as if I have two more friends in my life. I can listen to their stories when I have time. In fact, I have always liked Cheng Mi. His growth and transformation are really not easy. There is no deliberate or abrupt growth in his growth. Every step is very natural, because I think a person's growth is like this. He gets something from the people around him and learns something from the pain. Kishi Xun brought him tranquility, but he himself was also moving. He has always been a very determined and independent person. In fact, I have always been in awe of Shen Anxun. He is so pure, like a piece of paper. Even through the screen, I feel like I am being illuminated in front of him. Kishi Xun is also a man of his own opinion. He does not go against his will and every action he does comes from his heart. This is really a rare quality. If there is such a person around me in reality, I may still keep a distance from him, because I will be a little afraid of him instinctively, but if I accidentally become a friend, I will regard him as a spiritual mentor. I really like Ms. Ran and her sister in the book, their images are wonderful. Their pain and struggle are real, and their stories are heartbreaking, but they have their own growth every step of the way. I hope Shanshan can be more confident in her own content. I can feel that your thoughts and feelings are contained in the book, and it will appear in the lives of destined people. In fact, the model of jj is not very good now, and the readership is very different from before, but there will always be people who will find it and like it. You can't hide your sincerity. I can see your intentions and efforts in every book I've read. Looking forward to the next one [Let Me Be Well]
From flowers blooming to empty and full, in the blink of an eye, I came to Beijing from my hometown. Thank you Shanshan for coming back, thank you for our reunion after a long absence. Wish you all a safe and happy life❤️❤️❤️
The children asked Xiao Shen with innocence: "Have you seen the broader world?" They remembered what Xuyun said - to feel the kindness of the world. Seeing the sky, the earth, and himself, Shen Anxun clearly saw himself living passionately in Cheng Mi's eyes. For him, he had already seen the broadest world in his heart~ [The sky and the earth are two huge palms joined together. We are all blessed in it. —Liang Shuzheng, "Prayer in the Mountains"] The gesture of joining hands together contains the Buddha's blessing, just like Xuyun's last blessing to Ms. Ran and Sister Yan: Let me see your greatness. Every time we are healed, we will feel the goodwill expectations from others~ Heaven and earth are like Buddha, compassionate and tolerant ❤️
I stayed up all night watching it, I enjoyed it
Finished spreading flowers!! We will all go see the vastest and boundless sky ~ 🤗
Finished spreading flowers! I am really happy to write what I want to write. Readers can also feel the content created with care. It is a good journey for both parties ~ I believe the people in the story will go further ❤️ and I am looking forward to the next story!
When I mention the bells, it always reminds me of the bells when I first met at Tanzan Temple. The proposal in the bells of this foreign country is so romantic. I really like the ending. The open life of searching for a young couple continues like this [touching head] Good afternoon, sister. I haven't eaten it but after searching it, it seems that it is pig's trotters mixed with soup and rice. I don't know if I understand it correctly. I will try to find out if there is pig's trotters boiled rice here next time during the holiday [laughs and cries]
