Name: In the Beast World, Food Comes First
Author: Staying Up Late Is Bound to Make You Bald

Synopsis

The main story is complete. Let's celebrate!

[Homesteading + Food + Everyday Life + Cozy Sweet Romance]

May we hold on to our love of life amid the ordinary days.

Blurb:

Lu Yan was born into an ordinary rural family. Growing up in the countryside, he learned to climb trees and raid birds' nests for eggs. He also helped his family with farm work, planting crops and rice seedlings, and cooking over a wood stove. He had all the skills needed to live independently.

After an unexpected encounter, Lu Yan transmigrated to another world, a continent inhabited by beastmen who could transform into animals, half-beastmen like him, and women known as females.

Since he was there, he decided to make the best of it. With all his skills, Lu Yan settled down and built a happy life in the beastmen's world.

From a barren, primitive struggle for survival to a prosperous tribal life, farming and animal husbandry gradually transformed the primitive ecosystem of the beast world.

From crude stone huts to country villas with gardens, from dire food shortages to full tribal granaries, Lu Yan's cooking skills spread throughout the entire beast world.

-

Does the beast world have nothing but boiled and roasted meat?

With the eight great culinary traditions at his fingertips, Lu Yan fries, deep-fries, braises, and boils his way through all kinds of delicious dishes.

Does the beast world have nothing but potatoes?

Don't worry, a little vegetable garden is coming right up.

Food is scarce in winter, and people might starve to death.

Don't worry. Livestock is the way to go: raise chickens, ducks, and geese, and keep pigs, sheep, and cows.

Is life in the beast world dull and monotonous?

Then let's celebrate the Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Winter Solstice. We'll make mooncakes, zongzi, and other traditional holiday treats.

3. Food cultures differ, and every set of ingredients and cooking methods produces a different result.

4. This is not a cooking guide. The recipes are based on food videos found online.

Theme: Carve out a new home in a barren world and let good food bring people together. May simple food soothe the wounds of ordinary life, may we see the countless facets of the world through the warmth of everyday life, and may the bonds between people remain simple and sincere. We must always hold on to our love of life.

The third chapter is over. I really like this kind of article where everyone is a good person and everyone lives a warm and ordinary life together. I look forward to the author's next farming article.

Please collect new articles~Click on the author's column "Emperor's Heart" [Daily update + strong + strong + accepting the opening emperor + small attack history of struggle to reach the top + asking for collection] The emperor with a poisonous tongue and the maximum force value is attacked by the powerful minister with a vicious tongue. Li Shichen was guarding the border and had an army of 200,000 men, so he urgently recalled him to the palace. On the night of returning to the palace, during the Lantern Festival ceremony, the third prince rebelled and bloodbathed the palace. At the critical moment, Li Shichen shot a sharp arrow from outside the door and nailed the third prince to the main hall. The emperor immediately announced that King Li Li Shichen would succeed him and then went west. The civil and military officials of the entire court knelt on the ground to welcome the new emperor. Li Shichen, who hurriedly came back to vindicate himself, was stunned for a moment in the palace. Li Shichen was forced to take over the throne when he was 17 years old. The Queen Mother's family was the Prime Minister, and they were dissatisfied with King Li's appointment as emperor. Li Shichen pulled out Shang Fang's sword on the spot and chopped off the Prime Minister's head. The wolf cub with his hands covered in blood asked, "Who else is dissatisfied?" The courtiers were so frightened that they fell to the ground. They only knew that the Baiguan family was like ants in the eyes of the new emperor. Prince Li, who held military power and proclaimed himself emperor, was never easy to mess with. The first policy the arrogant and domineering Prince Li made after becoming emperor was: Don't make me unhappy. On the first day that the new emperor came to power, he beat up the Minister of Household Affairs. The reason was: "You are the one doing the work, right? How dare you deduct my military pay?" The harem was vacant, and many ministers petitioned His Majesty the Emperor for election. Li Shichen: "You're full and you have nothing to do, right?" Those who have daughters dare not mention it for fear of being accused by His Majesty of the Emperor of doing it intentionally. If they don't mention it, they will be accused of looking down on His Majesty. Mr. Li said that his daughter is not worthy and he will be banned from participating in the general election for three generations! The ministers looked at each other in confusion. Yu Weiwei performed a dance at the Qionglin banquet, "It is a blessing for a daughter of the people to be able to show off her ugliness in front of His Majesty." Li Shichen: "Since you know it's an act of shame, don't stain my eyes." When the ministers diligently delivered the memorial to Li Shichen, and when they returned it, it was either in tatters or in a mess. His Majesty the Emperor's comments are written at the front: "There are too many words and I'm too lazy to read." "It's all bullshit!" "Nothing in mind!" "Are you full after eating?" The ministers were in tears.

I really like this book. I have read it twice and am about to read it for the third time. I can tell that this is the author's early work. The writing is a bit immature, but I still like it very much. I really like this kind of warm and ordinary farming life. The protagonist has elders who love him, a gentle partner, and a few close friends. His daily life is cooking delicious food, growing vegetables, and occasionally going on outings. There is no abuse or slaps in the face, and there are no top-notch supporting characters, which makes people feel at peace [Bixin]
