I Use a Farming System to Benefit the People

Ji Meng transmigrated one day, only to find herself in the desert. She had also become a frail, sickly orphan whose sole passion was studying how to grow trees, and she was forced to bind herself to a farming System.

The System said, "If you don't complete your tasks, you'll die."

Ji Meng cursed. "What a piece of shit!"

Looking at the vast desert, the barren land, and the villagers' contemptuous expressions,

Ji Meng refused to believe it was impossible. She rolled up her sleeves and got to work at her old trade.

Greening the land! Growing crops! Raising livestock!

Ji Meng even found herself a man to work for free, exploiting him, bossing him around, and criticizing him at every turn...

When the villagers saw the desert turned into an oasis, the barren land become fertile fields, and livestock roaming everywhere, they felt the sting of being proven wrong.

What's not to love about plants, fertile fields, and livestock?

Later, the Xiongnu invaded.

The man who had been working in Ji Meng's fields, covered in dirt, suddenly revealed himself to be a mighty general defending the frontier.

Mu Chen donned his armor and went off to battle, leaving her with a single sentence: "Wait for me to come back!"

Ji Meng: "??"

Thinking about how she'd treated him, Ji Meng felt she was doomed. Was he making her wait so he could get revenge? She grumbled inwardly but agreed aloud: "All right!"

Mu Chen returned victorious and prepared to marry Ji Meng, but the moment she saw him, she ran.

Mu Chen chased after her. "Why are you running?"

Ji Meng wore a pained expression. "It's been so long. Are you still planning to get revenge on me?"
