After Faking a Marriage with the Heir

Rong Su'er transmigrates into the daughter of Lord Rong, a Hanlin Academician in the Great Sheng Dynasty. Unable to stand the many rules imposed on women in ancient times, she refuses to marry.

Even though she is peerlessly beautiful and known as the most beautiful woman in Chang'an, she cannot escape being called an old maid.

One day, her parents bundle her into a carriage and send her to a teahouse for a matchmaking date. There she meets Helan Ting, heir to the Prince of Jingnan, who is also unwilling to marry and trying to run away.

The two hit it off and join forces to do something big: pretend to get married!

They quickly reach a friendly agreement: if one day either of them meets the right person to spend their life with, the other will cooperate by signing a divorce agreement. They will part amicably, and afterward each may marry whomever they please, with no further ties between them.

After the wedding, Helan Ting says, "Rong Su'er, I hope you remember the terms of our agreement. From now on, you are not to come within three steps of me without my permission!"

But who could have guessed that Helan Ting would regret it later?

Watching Rong Su'er smile sweetly at another man, Helan Ting's handsome face darkens, and he confines her to their bedchamber.

Rong Su'er struggles. "Helan Ting, you scoundrel!"

Both leads are sexually inexperienced. Happy ending.
