Stories I've Enjoyed Lately

Update: My favorites are really all over the place.

How a Savior Is Made

An eclectic reader who prefers couples devoted only to each other, both body and soul. I like stories with well-developed characters where supporting characters don't steal the spotlight. My standards for a savior protagonist are pretty broad, and I'll flag potential pitfalls.

Recently Read (For My Own Reference, Updates as I Go)

Stories I’ve read recently. I’ll keep adding more.

A Personal Reading Log to Jog My Memory (1)

Mostly BL or no-CP. Mainly keeping track of books, with a few recommendations. Purely subjective, based on my personal tastes. Quite a few have been sitting on my list so long that I've lost interest. Browse with caution.

Top-Tier

Absolutely Fantastic, Highly Recommended

They dote on each other; strong leads who are evenly matched (for the most part); 1v1. Strong-and-strong pairings are my main course, but I’ll try a little of everything for dessert. Confident, bold, clever characters are my number one.

Great BL Reads for 2026

Preferences: serious drama, fantasy, feel-good wish fulfillment, and humor, with sweet mutual romance.

Interstellar, Futuristic, Sci-Fi, Infinite Flow, Quick Transmigration

Couldn't decide how to categorize these, so I'll put them together. I read some years ago and barely remember them, so I gave them an approximate rating based on my impression.

BL Infinite-Flow Stories I Rated Five Stars

Infinite flow BL.

Infinite Worlds, Supernatural Tales, and More

Those infinite-flow stories

Two Powerful Leads in Infinite-Flow Stories: Rise to the Top

Some books got 4 stars because I couldn't give them 5, and some I haven't finished. My ratings are subjective. Even when I give a high rating, I'll still mention the flaws. If a book has flaws but also some really outstanding strengths, I'll give it 5 stars.

2026 BL Warrior Reading List

A CP fan’s subscription roundup for 2026, sorted by when I read them. Not all are fully subscribed. Watch out for low ratings and dropped novels. Assume both leads are each other’s first and only partners.

Enjoy the Blossoms When They Bloom

[2] BL, only 1v1, with both gong and shou protagonists. Extreme preferences, stay away!

Pretty Good Stories

I read all kinds of things, but I prefer balanced stories and especially enjoy the romance. Updating regularly.

Ongoing Reads and Finished Stories Saved for Later

A personal reading list: upcoming stories I'm interested in, serials I'm following, and completed works I've saved for later.

Personal Reading List Archive

Purely subjective (o.0). Stories I’m waiting to accumulate chapters for, or have read and found worth revisiting, including: ordinary premises that are nevertheless well done, novel settings, and characterizations or plots that really hit the spot.

Highly Recommended Western Fantasy and Otherworlds

Western fantasy, with a bit of a red tint in another world

A Reading List Tailored to My Tastes

All danmei, including but not limited to handsome tops and pretty bottoms, gloomy wet male ghosts, seductive beauties, and salvation. If you find two or more overlaps, feel free to recommend them.

In-Control Bottoms

Recommending some shou-focused stories with shou protagonists who take control of the situation
