Come Closer, Little Ears

1: Jian Chi has poor hearing. One night in high school, he lost both his parents, and a strange old man who shuffled along with a cane took him to a courtyard house. The little deaf boy had beautiful eyes, but was timid and fearful. He huddled in a corner of the backyard for ages without coming out.

2: Ning Yuan heard there was a mouse hiding behind the wall that day. He turned around and swung his broom, hitting a child instead. The boy trembled and cried in fright. Later, the poor kid moved into the courtyard. He was afraid of everyone, but loved grabbing Ning Yuan's clothes and calling him Brother Yuan. No matter how much Ning Yuan scolded him, he wouldn't leave. That little shadow trailed behind Ning Yuan for half a lifetime.

3: After Ning Yuan finished performing onstage that day, he stared into a dark corner of the bar and spoke into the microphone. "I'm waiting for you. Will you come take me away?"

The corner fell silent.

Later, Jian Chi ran into the backstage storage room, drenched in sweat, and shouted, "Brother Yuan, Jian Chi is here to take you away."

A slice-of-life story about falling in love.

Sweet romance, HE, 1v1.
