Stranded on an Island with My Doctor Ex

1: On the last day before turning twenty-five, Lu Rong was forced by his mother to go on a blind date. After discussing the economic outlook with the business executive across from him, he made a clean getaway.

Before meeting his next blind date, Lu Rong used visiting a friend as an excuse to sign up for a Little Red Riding Hood two-week island tour.

As it turned out, a storm hit on the very first day, and it rained for the next two weeks.

Lu Rong was drenched on the beach, looking like a drowned rat.

When he looked up, his eyes met those of his equally drenched ex-boyfriend, Jiang Zuo.

Lu Rong asked, "Who did you come with?"

Jiang Zuo walked over. "My grandmother. Who did you come with?"

Lu Rong blurted out, "My boyfriend."

Jiang Zuo nodded and said nothing.

2: Maybe it was because he got soaked in the rain, but the next day Lu Rong came down with a fever and a runny nose, sneezing nonstop.

Jiang Zuo came over with a first-aid kit and gave him some medicine. "Where's your partner?"

Lu Rong lied. "Out having fun."

Jiang Zuo said, "How come your taste in men has gotten so bad?"

Lu Rong replied, "How come your tongue is still just as sharp?"

3: Lu Rong spent half a month on the island. Because of the weather, he never went anywhere, and kept running into Jiang Zuo at the hotel.

He was clumsy with his hands. He burned himself handling hot water, tripped on the stairs, and even slipped in the bathroom while showering.

Jiang Zuo kept the first-aid kit with him around the clock, afraid Lu Rong would somehow get himself killed.

Lu Rong fell in the bathroom and called him, saying he couldn't get up.

Jiang Zuo asked, "Where's your partner?"

Lu Rong shouted, "Dead! Are you coming or not?"

How could Jiang Zuo not come? He ran over in a flash.

Lu Rong had been the one to end things before. He thought Jiang Zuo was too distant about certain aspects of their relationship and too cautious in bed.

Later, he found out the man had been pretending the whole time.

Once he stopped pretending, the two of them got along like a house on fire.

People say a good horse doesn't eat grass it has already grazed, but looking at this grass now, Lu Rong had to admit it tasted pretty great.

A story about rekindling an old flame with an ex-boyfriend on an island, then realizing how good it is.
