The Great Sage, wearing the Golden Fillet, accompanies Tang Sanzang on the Journey to the West, but the Golden Fillet wants to give him his freedom. It takes human form and follows him by his side. Freed from the torment of the fillet's spell, the Great Sage is still willing to protect Tang Sanzang on his quest for the scriptures. The Golden Fillet doesn't understand. "Great Sage, Great Sage, don't you love freedom more than anything? Why are you still going to the West?" The Great Sage snorts and gathers the Golden Fillet into his arms. "That Tathagata fellow imprisoned your true form. Of course I'll protect Tang Sanzang on his way to the West to marry... you." "I don't want you to become the compassionate Victorious Fighting Buddha of the West. You were meant to be the Handsome Monkey King, free to roam all of heaven and earth. "No one will ever be allowed to bind you." . In the author's heart, the Great Sage will always be an all-powerful hero. He is invincible. . [Highlights:] Set during the Journey to the West. Everyone is out of character, with mountains of author-created settings! Don't scrutinize it for accuracy. This story portrays the gods and Buddhas of the heavens in a somewhat dark light. Followers of Buddhism and Taoism, read with caution. [Warnings:] 1. There is a secondary couple. Read with caution if this bothers you. 2. The final chapter's extra features childbirth. Read with caution if this bothers you. [Please:] The blurb clearly states that everyone is out of character! If you can't accept characters being out of character, please don't read this. Please don't read it all, accuse me of ruining the characters, and give it a low rating. Seriously, thanks for nothing. 2021.9.27 (screenshot saved) .
