How to Make a Floating Cloud Rest in Your Hands

This story will enter VIP serialization on February 9. There will be a 10,000-character update on the day it goes VIP, but the update schedule is currently unstable. If you're interested, check out my upcoming stories on my profile. They're all top's POV stories. The next one will most likely be one of the stories listed under "The one I most want to write next," but a surprise story isn't out of the question. Asagami Shuya is an utterly ordinary school nurse at an utterly ordinary school in Namimori. Honestly, before he arrived, he couldn't understand why the principal had been so enthusiastic when hiring a school nurse. But after seeing the students who came in every day, beaten up by the disciplinary committee, he got it. No wonder his predecessor quit. No wonder the principal was so excited to see him. No wonder nobody wanted to work as the school nurse. But honestly, are the students' injuries getting more and more outrageous? The boys before him bore wounds that could in no way have come from ordinary roughhousing. Asagami Shuya sighed, convinced that Japan really was a dangerous place. A little baby dressed in a strange cosplay outfit tapped Asagami Shuya on the shoulder with a magic wand. "Would you like to join..." "No." Although being a school nurse was a headache and the students' fights kept escalating, the pay was good. Besides, the disciplinary committee president, rumored to be a ferocious beast, was indeed interesting. So Asagami Shuya decided he didn't mind continuing to work as the school nurse. How can you make an elusive cloud come to rest in your hand? Just let the cloud choose to rest in your palm. Reading guide: 1. The Demon Eyes have been altered somewhat. 2. The author's writing skills are limited, so expect plenty of my own OOC interpretations and headcanons. As long as it's fun, that's all that matters. 3. I wrote this for my own enjoyment because I was starving for content. It's pretty sweet. Theme: Everyone has the right to pursue happiness.
