Grand Order Angler

My upcoming story: I Refuse to Share the Same Sky as a Stupid AI. If you're interested, please add it to your favorites in my column. I've had too much going on in real life lately, so updates are irregular. I can only promise at least two chapters a week, though I may update every other day when things aren't too hectic. Blurb: First Furst quit his 996 job in the big city and went back to inherit his grandfather's old farm. The moment he got off the bus, he stood there dumbfounded. Where was Pelican Town, which was supposed to be so huge? What was this deserted island? To avoid living rough and foraging in the wilderness, he had no choice but to do his best to run the farm and improve his life. On this sandy island, fishing was an essential part of the job. But forget the fish. What were these human-shaped creatures that looked suspiciously like mackerel, the guns and ammunition, all these dangerous-looking suspicious characters, the Maneki-neko that looked like a pig, and the book titled Postpartum Care for Sows? Blurb for an upcoming story: Kano Rusei was an unlucky guy who got dragged into things through no fault of his own. To stay alive, he was forced to travel between movie sets with System 0748, collecting energy that would let both him and the System survive. They got along well. Aside from being an idiot whenever its energy was low, the System was pretty great, until Kano started doing the work. System: To help clients get started as quickly as possible, I created a golden finger based on your Steam game library. Thanks for being so thoughtful. It would be even better if it weren't so heavily censored that only a morgue was left, and if the body I had to use weren't a pixel person. System: I've calculated the optimal point for collecting energy, and I guarantee we'll have enough to build a body this time. Kano followed the System's directions to the destination. All he could see was the flash of an explosion, and the next moment he was back at the respawn point. System: I've updated the algorithm. This time, we definitely won't end up at the scene of an explosion. Kano looked up. A battered, crimson greatsword was falling toward him. System: ... Kano: Shut up already. I refuse to share the same sky as a stupid AI! Theme: Get rich through hard work.
