Dazai's Girlfriend, Miss Natsume

[Blurb] She was just reminiscing about her childhood with her brother and their yokai friends, playing a game of hide-and-seek together. But when she turned around, she found herself on the streets of Yokohama, having somehow gone from Yatsuhara to the big city. Natsume Chizuru was stunned. Like her brother, she could see beings known as “yokai,” but that didn’t mean she was supposed to face the challenge of surviving in another world, did it? And why was this world so completely impossible?! Hearing her brother’s voice, she chased after it, only to discover a world’s greatest detective, a psychic who loved coffee jelly, and a homeless god who charged five yen for his services. The great literary figures she knew from her textbooks had all given up writing. Walking down the street, she might even be asked by a doctor accompanied by a blonde little girl, “Do you know Natsume Soseki?” When she answered yes, he would give her a thoughtful look. Every now and then, she’d run into some anonymous curse spirit while out and about, then get invited to go to school by a jujutsu sorcerer who claimed to be the strongest. There were even all sorts of strange “Kings” and their factions, as well as elementary school detective kids running around crime scenes, and more. In a world where a murder lurked every three steps, a curse spirit every five, and an ability user every ten, Chizuru suddenly realized just how peaceful her old life had been. Thankfully, the boyfriend she was dating was still normal. Aside from saying weird things all the time, liking to wrap himself up in bandages, and having intelligence and possessiveness that were a little terrifying... Yeah, more or less normal... right? Chizuru: Brother, I want to go home. This world is so dangerous QAQ The villains who got beaten up: Go home already! You’re so dangerous QAQ Boyfriend: Chizuru-chan, aren’t you taking me home too? QAQ The book: Going home isn’t an option. The only way to get by is to move home over here :) [Tips] √ Pairing: Armed Detective Agency Dazai. A fluffy little romance between a healing type and a depressing type. √ Chizuru is Natsume’s twin sister! (Pay attention!) She is absolutely not a gender-swapped Natsume! The siblings don’t have exactly the same personalities. √ Chizuru gets dropped into another world early on; the worlds merge later, and the characters who died come back (quiet spoiler). √ I’m a huge fan of voice actor jokes. Natsume and a certain world’s greatest detective, a certain pink-haired psychic, and a certain homeless five-yen god all share the same voice actor. So there will be scenes where people mistake them for her brother, but the brothers are strictly platonic friends, so please don’t ship the wrong pairing. √ Dazai won’t be beaten up or cheated on. No everyone-loves-the-protagonist setup, no love-triangle drama, and no canon characters who are devoted male admirers. I love all the characters and won’t put anyone down, but I won’t whitewash the villains either. No crack pairings and no breaking up canon couples. [Coming Soon 1] "Boss Dazai’s Girlfriend, Miss Natsume": A fluffy little romance between a healing type and a depressing type. During the summer break after graduating from university, Natsume Chizuru traveled to Yokohama by herself. She didn’t expect to stumble into a fight on her very first night in town, or to end up rescuing a black-haired young man in a black trench coat and bandages. Apparently, he was a Yokohama local who worked as a low-level manager at a company. He was considerate and gentle, thoughtful and attentive, and good at keeping a home. He knew all the interesting places in Yokohama and showed her every sight worth seeing. In the end, he confessed his feelings. Natsume Chizuru decided to take the relationship seriously. So she took her brand-new boyfriend to meet the family elder living in Yokohama, Reiko’s maternal uncle. A certain calico cat snapped his cane in half on the spot. Only then did Natsume Chizuru finally discover that her “weak, pitiful, and helpless” boyfriend was the boss of the Port Mafia :) [Coming Soon 2] "Xiao Yu’s Adventures in a Crossover World": Demons and monsters, go away! After transferring to Teitan Elementary School, Xiao Yu gradually realized that everyone around her was more than they seemed. On her first day of school, she encountered a murder. A first-grader had a tranquilizer dart on hand, solved the case right there, and somehow no one noticed! A certain perpetually elementary-school-aged kid broke into a cold sweat. “M-My dad taught me in Hawaii.” Xiao Yu: Uncle Long, I want to go to Hawaii too! Uncle Long: ? During her first week of school, she went to visit the neighbors. Their mother was gentle and great at fighting, their father was capable and dependable, and their daughter was adorable. But Xiao Yu accidentally discovered that the mother was an assassin, the father was a spy, and the daughter could read minds. Xiao Yu: Isn’t this more exciting than a jungle adventure? Anya: What? A jungle adventure? Waku waku! During her first month of school, she went to Yokohama to unwind, only to stumble into a full-scale Port Mafia battle, with supernatural abilities flying everywhere. Xiao Yu: ? Don’t try to fool me. It’s not like I’ve never met the Mafia before. They’re not as good at fighting as I am. A certain five-person group: ? We’re going straight. Don’t drag us into this. An Old Master’s Antique Shop had just opened in Yokohama. There were three people working there, along with a little girl who went to school in nearby Beika Town. But the various factions gradually realized something was off. #Keeping an eye on Xiao Yu is about as hard as keeping a certain bandage-wrapped guy locked up# #Why can that archaeologist hold his own against the Port Mafia’s gravity manipulator using bizarre objects like windshield wipers, clothes hangers, and ladders?# #That old guy was supposed to be a harmless old man, so why is he a close-combat mage?# That day, everyone remembered the fear of being ruled by the words “Demons and monsters, go away!” The End Theme: Kindness is strength.
