What should you do if you start out as an amnesiac earth spirit and end up homeless?

Xi Sui gazed at the city in the sunset, feeling utterly downcast, until he happened to meet a shady doctor who kidnapped him.

Doctor Mori held a photograph, tears in his eyes. "Actually, I have a daughter..."

"...My condolences." Xi Sui looked at the golden-haired little girl on the screen. As a Yokohama earth spirit, he felt he'd stumbled onto an important clue:

Doctor Mori = lost daughter = needs a new child

And so...

Determined to repay the kind doctor who had saved his life, the earth spirit sprang into action...

The child with germanium-colored hair was bundled up and shoved into the clinic in the middle of the night. His cheeks were flushed, and he asked shyly but expectantly, "A-are you my 'family' too?"

The shady doctor: "...?"

"This is Chuuya. He's alive, he can fly, and he glows."

Why has a mysterious new religion appeared in the Slum Quarter?

Why does the night clinic inexplicably echo with the cries of a blue fish?

Why has a trio from the Odd Jobs Agency appeared under the Five-Yen God?
