The Extreme Sports Prodigy Is Focused on Studying

Hang Feng is a genuine second-generation athlete. His older siblings and elders are all 'elite' figures in sports, but he's the odd one out, focused entirely on his studies. His mom said, 'Come ski for my team. You don't have the genes for studying, anyway.' Hang Feng said, 'No, I just want to study.' His dad said, 'Enter a surfing competition and win a medal. I'll find you the best tutor.' Hang Feng said, 'Deal.' The national climbing team's coach said, 'My development squad needs a talent like you. You'd sweep the youth championships.' Hang Feng said, 'If I go pro, I won't have time to study.' The X-Games organizers sent him an invitation: 'We cordially invite Mr. Hang Feng to compete in the youth downhill skateboarding event on the 2A course. The champion will receive a prize of thirty thousand US dollars.' Hang Feng said, 'If I win, does that mean I can study abroad?' Hang Feng cuts loose wherever he goes, but keeps a low profile in class. One award after another lands on the principal's desk. The principal asks the dean, 'Are we still a key provincial high school? Are we sure this isn't a vocational sports school?' The dean strokes a medal and smiles. 'Shh. He just wants to study in peace.'
