Contractual Bond [Guide and Sentinel]

After the disaster, the humans who survived awakened as Sentinels and Guides. Sentinels have extraordinary physical abilities, while Guides possess exceptional mental powers. Only by pairing up can they survive in a new world full of distortions and mutations. Chen Yu grew up in a disaster zone, scraping by on salvaged junk. She has killed more mutated creatures than she's ever seen people. One day, she snatched a man right from the jaws of a mutated creature: a handsome man covered in high-tech equipment who looked like he might cough up blood at any moment. Chen Yu was wondering how many supplies she could trade the man's gear for when he spoke, sounding certain she wouldn't refuse his offer. "Escort me out of here, and I'll be your Guide." Talented Guides are a scarce resource, and they have the right to choose their Sentinels. With his nose in the air, he has yet to find a partner he considers worthy. Who could have guessed that, to survive, he would temporarily bond with a strange Sentinel? She has been cut off from human society for a long time, knows almost nothing about the world, and cares only about her reward. She has no interest in Guides, or in him. When this dangerous, drawn-out journey ends, Chen Yu will readily agree to sever their mental link. That would be a good thing. It should be a good thing. But Wang Ke is gradually finding it hard to let go. *Yes, it's Fish King Returns, in another Sentinel Tower universe. *Post-apocalyptic road story, once again with Yu, who doesn't understand people's hearts, and Wang Qi, who overthinks everything. *This is BG, so it's Guide x Sentinel.
