Bringing an Insectoid Female Back to Earth

[Set in a fictional alternate world, unrelated to reality. Please don’t read it as a reflection of real life.] [A story about a blond Earthling who spirits away a rich, strong, beautiful female Zerg and brings him back to Earth for a romance.] [A silly, sweet everyday-life story with simple interstellar trade elements, focused on romance from the top’s perspective.] International astronaut Zhong Zhang went missing during an extraterrestrial expedition. To honor his sacrifice in the exploration of space, people held a memorial service for him. On the day of the ceremony, a massive alien spaceship descended upon Earth. Zhong Zhang and the alien friend he had sweet-talked into coming along stood facing the sea, waiting for someone to pick them up. “Isidore, this is my hometown.” The upright, genuine Earthling coaxed him patiently. “Want to come down and take a look around with me? Clear your head?” * Faced with the warm welcome of the alien residents, his alien friend was worried. Taking customs from several sources into account, he felt it would be terribly rude to visit another planet empty-handed. He asked Zhong Zhang, “You have 1.4 billion relatives. Would it be better if I gave you a medium-sized floating island?” Zhong Zhang: ? The entire country: ? The whole world: ? Everyone stared at the floating island that had appeared beside the moon, stunned. One hundred thousand square kilometers. Roughly the equivalent of two prefecture-level cities floating in the sky. “Pretty generous of me, right?” the alien female Zerg said, fishing for praise from his Earthling friend. “Now your relatives have somewhere new to live. You won’t have to say, ‘It’s so crowded.’” Zhong Zhang: Huh? You mean you’ve replaced my cramped three-bedroom apartment with the equivalent of five Beijings or ten Shanghais? Yes? Is that what you mean? That seems… not quite right. * 1. The top is an ordinary human, not a male Zerg. He is genuinely human. 2. The bottom is generous, wealthy, and a good-natured technical genius. 3. Because of language barriers, there will be misunderstandings. For example, the bottom thinks all 1.4 billion people in the country are the top’s relatives.
