Stealing Stars [Interstellar]

A huge scandal has rocked the Yu family.

The Empire's Rose, the beloved eldest daughter Yu Xin, isn't actually a Yu by blood.

The real eldest daughter of the Yu family grew up on a low-grade agricultural planet, raised by an elderly couple who survived by scavenging trash.

Sent by the family to bring her home, the Yu family steward nearly blacked out at the sight of the timid girl sitting across from him. Her exam scores were a disaster, and her mental power ranked only F.

In the end, the family head waved a hand and accepted her as the "Second Miss."

Then he pulled strings to get her into the Empire's best university, hoping she could polish her credentials.

In the interstellar era, the Zerg are invading.

Governments everywhere make it their top priority to train students with strong mental power who can pilot mechs.

X Academy is the Empire's finest institution in this field, the military's premier training ground for talent.

One day, a "prodigy" joined the bottom-ranked class in the Mech Academy. Her grades were so bad that even the student at the very bottom felt ashamed by comparison.

Oh, but look at her face.

Everyone thought...

She was a beautiful deadweight.

1. An interstellar everyone-loves-her story, with everyday life at military school.

2. Romance-focused, with multiple character types as writing practice. This is not a power-progression story or a great-female-lead story. The main draw is the love-triangle chaos, with a few twists. Please sit this one out if that's not your cup of tea.
