The Zombie King Is a Little Lost

Xiao You is a zombie.

One day, she was bound to a villain-saving System.

The System told her this was a post-apocalyptic romance novel. The heroine was reborn with dual space and healing abilities, while the hero was a powerful lightning ability user.

The Zombie King was the darkened villain of the story, who loved the heroine but could never have her. He seemed refined and delicate, but was actually twisted and ruthless.

Her mission was to save this darkened Zombie King and stop the villain from destroying the hard-won order of the post-apocalyptic world.

The real Zombie King, Xiao You: ...?

Her eyes were blank with bewilderment.

Seeing the pale, thin girl, so frail she looked as if a breeze might blow her away, the System felt sorry for her.

"Don't worry. Our rigorous and precise investigation confirms the Zombie King likes Hosts with your delicate, innocent looks."

"...Okay."

"Even if you fail, it's fine. The Zombie King never hurts the weak or children."

"...Mm-hmm."

"If your life is ever in danger, we'll activate a protective barrier for you, Host."

"...Thank you."

System: What a good Host.

One month later.

System: Boss, just kill me already, aaah!

System: Why is this Host such a freak? I'm crying! Is she saving the Zombie King, or is the Zombie King saving her?!

System: And how can she still look so clueless and innocent? Waaah!!!

One year later.

System: I chose this Host myself, so I'll serve her to the bitter end, sob.

Three years later.

System: (peeking out like a cat) (staring at the gold medal newly added to its profile, lost in thought)
