Arkham Knight Never Gives Up [Western Crossover]

[Next up: the crossover series Who Am I Supposed to Be Playing? The blurb is at the bottom. Please add it to your reading list!] Blurb: Jesse transmigrates into the world of the Arkham games. He can only go home by completing the Arkham trilogy. After becoming the Dark Knight, punching his way through the asylum and kicking his way through Arkham City, he watches a certain fan-club leader finally get himself killed through sheer stupidity. Before Jesse can even celebrate, he realizes something seems off about this world: The map, which originally only included Gotham City, has expanded to cover the whole world. Places like Metropolis and Star City, which only appeared in supplementary materials, are no longer just background settings. A whole bunch of unfamiliar superheroes have suddenly appeared... And what the hell is the Justice League? Most importantly, how did he become the Arkham Knight? What happened to being the Dark Knight?! No high-tech armor, multipurpose gear, Batcomputer, or Batmobile... Instead, he has twin pistols, a tank, drones, and an entire army... Jesse doesn't hesitate to shout, "I can do this!" ...Fine, so he has to turn against the old Bat. What's the big deal? He's been the Dark Knight before. What hasn't he seen? The Arkham Knight fears nothing! The big black Bat (green-eyed version): Heh. Jesse (terrified): I've actually never seen that before! Don't come any closer! *The protagonist is the Arkham Knight, Jason Todd himself. Pairing with Roy (?) The romance is a relatively small part of the story. *All Gotham-related settings follow the Arkham games. There are original settings, and some out-of-character characterization is inevitable. Please bear with me. Who Am I Supposed to Be Playing? After being approached by the System and reborn, he receives a mission to play a particular character. Once the whole process is complete, he looks at the System's image of his adult self. Having dabbled quite a bit in anime, he confidently identifies the character: "That face is obviously Fu-chan from the KHR stage play. You want me to play Hibari? No problem. I'm great at fighting and acting out chuunibyou!" System: "You are a detective with a one-hundred-percent case-solving rate, but you kill the culprits after solving their cases, so your arrest rate is zero percent." "Oh, I get it! I'm the Murder Detective from the Bungo Stray Dogs stage play. But does Ayatsuji really look like this?" System: "You carry the blood of both the Holmes and Moriarty families. You have supreme detective talent, along with the potential to become a crime lord." "A reworked Moriarty the Patriot production? I'm descended from Holmes and Moriarty?!" System: "Your name is Ron Kamonohashi." Ron: "...Sorry, I haven't watched enough anime. This is genuinely outside my area of knowledge." System: "That's okay. It's a reworked crossover anime world anyway. All the productions you just mentioned are here, along with other surprises waiting for you." Ron: ? System: "The Holmes family are senior members of the Clock Tower Keepers, while the Moriarty family has run MI6 for generations... By the way, the entire Moriarty the Patriot cast has been reborn in the modern era. Sherlock is your cousin. Isn't that exciting?" Ron: !!! #IWouldDieHappyJustToMeetMyFavoriteCharacter# System: It's been a while. Let's see how the mission is going... System (screaming): You, you, you weren't supposed to find your favorite character? Who the hell are you playing?! The black-haired boy sits calmly in the Moriarty family's head seat and smiles. "It all began when someone who claimed to be my older brother asked if I wanted to go home with him. I said yes, and only then found out his name was Moriarty..." #YouNeverMentionedIHadAnOlderBrotherInTheMoriartyFamilyToo# *Black-haired Ron. Hibari and Ron are related by blood. *Based on the delusionally scientific Detective Conan universe, with plenty of original settings and a chaotic timeline. *The blurb has been revised. Please refer to the latest version. Theme: Building a harmonious and loving family
