[Western Crossover] The Guardian Angel Was Supposed to Protect Me, So Why Is He a Hell VIP?

[Bad news: I recently packed up and left my job, and I'm unemployed. The extras will be out later, but definitely before July.] This story includes: brothers loving and respecting each other in the Robin family, and loving fathers and filial sons in the Batfamily. Content warning: [An original character with a significant amount of screen time] Warning: [A major character dies, but will come back to life] Jason has a secret: there's always a bird-headed person following him who calls himself his "guardian angel." When Jason was four, someone beat him black and blue in an alley. A guy with a soft-focus glow and a white bird's head showed up, introducing himself as Gaspel (gospel) and saying he was Jason's guardian angel. Fine, Jason believed him, even if all this angel could do was blow a newspaper off the ground to "slap someone twice." "Can't you do anything else?" "I wish I could, but angels can't interfere in human affairs, so that's the way it is." Gaspel looked completely unapologetic. "Blowing two newspapers around is already pushing the limits of what I'm allowed to do." Still, something was better than nothing. At least he had someone to chat with for free. Then Jason's mom was on the verge of dying. Jason cried so hard he nearly couldn't breathe. Gaspel pulled a piece of parchment from his feathers. "It's not like there's no way to save your mom... Let me look... Found it! Here, sign your name, and your mom will come back to life right away!" Jason signed on the spot. As for those additional clauses written in letters smaller than sesame seeds? Sorry, he couldn't read them. What happened next? Well, Jason became a human BBQ. He woke up on the border between life and death. Just as he was about to accuse Gaspel of neglecting his duties, he realized... At some point, his big white bird had upgraded to VIP, complete with hellfire effects all over his body. His feathered wings had been upgraded to black bone frames. "Gaspel?" "That's me, yes, that's right. I've upgraded, so now you can call me Gaspel, Demon Lord." The demon answered in an incredibly obnoxious tone. "You're my underling now, Jason. Don't even think about going to heaven. Come on, let's go to hell with me." He snapped his fingers. "The guy who sent you down here was called the Joker, right? Want to drag him down here yourself?" 1. This will have a happy ending. 2. Thanks to my good friend Tong Bai, who's been helping me since this story was just a rough idea. I want to recommend her story, Jason Wants to Escape Gotham [Western Crossover]. 3. If I abandon this story, I'll release an outline. 4. It crosses over with Elden Ring. Don't worry, it's just background flavor. 5. I love everyone forever, but that doesn't mean I won't put them through the wringer. 6. There probably won't be a romance, because the author can't write romance. 7. Everyone will probably be out of character. Read with caution. 8. Aaaah, how do I even write this blurb?! Aaaah! 9. There are quite a few plot holes. I'm working hard to patch them, really, I am!!! Theme: Face life with a sunny outlook.
