I Heard You Eat Vegetarian

Starting July 16, chapters 26 through 43 will be locked as the story moves toward completion.

Ulysses is the seme, Hoyle is the uke. They're both fluffy creatures and neither turns human.

In early autumn, Ulysses took in a sweet, foolish little creature who was being hunted.

But before winter arrived, he found himself with a little liar.

Ulysses: You said you were a sweet, silly beast, but even your name was fake? Exhausted.jpg

Test Subject 77's 27th escape attempt.

He passed the centaur, the man-eating flower, and the merfolk... and finally stopped at a patch of ceiling.

The sound of tails slapping came from below. He pressed himself against the floor, picking out the most unusual sound among those coming from different directions.

"Good evening, 77."

"After My Dead Ex-Boyfriend Came Knocking" by Tian Ezuo

Rekindled romance, angst in the beginning, happy ending. Qin Hewang is the seme x Qu Huizhou is the uke.

Qu Huizhou once had a boyfriend.

When they were dating, he joked with Qu Huizhou, "Even if I die someday, I'll come back to find you as a ghost."

Qu Huizhou didn't take him seriously at the time.

Ten years later, on the night Qu Huizhou returned from Qin Hewang's funeral, Qin Hewang, who had promised to come back as a ghost, really appeared outside his door.

"Zhouzhou, I'm back."

As an atheist, Qu Huizhou opens the door and lets his ex-boyfriend in. Then, behind his back, he goes to see a psychiatrist. "Doctor, I think there's something wrong with my mind."

Bonus scene:

Much later, Qu Huizhou asks his psychiatrist, "Do you think ghosts really exist?"

The doctor's expression is gentle, with a trace of pity. "You're ill, Mr. Qu."

"Yes... I'm ill..."

He walks outside and sees his long-dead ex-boyfriend standing on the sidewalk. The passersby hurry along, walking straight through Qin Hewang's body, but he seems not to notice. He reaches out toward Qu Huizhou.

He says, "Zhouzhou, it's time to go home."
