After the Gods Fell

At thirteen, Cecil was abandoned in the wilderness. The God of Light found him and brought him back to the temple, where he became a divine attendant.

At five hundred and thirteen, the God of Light sacrificed himself to mend the world's barrier and fell. Cecil killed three hundred lesser gods and left the Nine Heavens.

At six hundred, Cecil had countless students in the mortal realm, and his name resounded across the continent. One of them was Calvino, a student he couldn't stand but with whom he had an ambiguous relationship, and with whom he had once accidentally shared a bed.

What Cecil disliked most about this student was that, at certain moments, he acted so much like the god Cecil had once served.
