Big Brother, Why Does He Call You Wangcai?

Wolf gong × cat shou, younger male lead

As the new alpha, Jing Cong seemed aloof, mysterious, and powerful to the wolves. One look was enough to send any troublemaking wolf from the neighboring pack running with its tail between its legs.

Every wolf thought he could keep up that image forever.

Until one day, a cat appeared from around the corner, calling out “Wangcai” as it clung to their alpha with all four paws.

“What did you just call him?” one of the younger wolves asked in disbelief.

“Wangcai.”

“Who were you calling that?”

The cat squatted down and licked its paw, then quietly pointed at Jing Cong. “Him, of course.”

After being released into the forest, Jing Cong became the alpha and ran into the same cat who had bullied him as a child, back when it was bigger than him.

The cat, fleeing from a wild boar, crouched in front of him and tearfully recounted how hard life had been since it became a stray. Then it looked up at him with pleading eyes. “My sister's gone. You'll take me in, right?”

Jing Cong looked at the cat, now several sizes smaller than him. He patted its head with his heavy wolf paw, grinned, and said, “Of course.”
