Don't Go Fishing Around

Pure-hearted puppy x seductive beauty Ji Xuan died of a sudden heart attack on the very night he won the world championship. But he never expected the first person to rush over and perform CPR to be his rival Lu Chao, who had always looked down on him. Ji Xuan watched Lu Chao go from panicked to despairing. At the final moment, as his vision blurred, the other's tears fell onto his lips, burning hot. When Ji Xuan opened his eyes again, he found himself reborn, back three years in the past. At this point, Lu Chao was just starting to make a name for himself in a campus tournament. When the young man saw him step up to present the awards, he stood ramrod straight, though his words were arrogant: "In less than two years, I'll catch up with you and surpass you." In his previous life, Ji Xuan had only glanced at him coolly and said, "Come back when you can make it into the second-tier league." This time, Ji Xuan remembered Lu Chao kneeling beside him, crying his heart out. He smiled. "Want an autograph?" The spirited young man froze on the spot. Ji Xuan: "No? Then I'll..." "I do!" With everyone watching, Lu Chao eagerly smoothed out his shirt so Ji Xuan could sign it. The young man bent forward slightly, lashes lowered, obedient beyond belief. After Ji Xuan finished signing and left, Lu Chao's ears turned bright red. His gaze followed him until his figure disappeared completely. He quietly raised a hand to cover the shoulder Ji Xuan had touched. His palm felt even hotter than when he had held the trophy. Later, Lu Chao made a splash in the league, and countless top clubs came calling. But backstage, where no one else could see, the usually cold and cocky young man could barely get the words out. "Do, do you remember me? From before, at the campus tournament..." "What is it?" Ji Xuan thought the little guy was about to show off again. Instead, Lu Chao blushed and lowered his head. "Am, am I good enough to join your club?" "I want... I want to compete alongside you." Theme: So adorable.
