The Obsessive Puppy-Boy Is Actually Me

[Complete. The revised and polished version is available only on Jinjiang. Pirated copies are incomplete.] [Blurb] [Self-Cest Narcissus Fiction] Xie Anheng, the youngest tycoon in Manbei City, died. When he opened his eyes again, he had become a rich second-generation heir with nowhere left to turn. Most importantly, he had returned to ten years earlier. And there was another Xie Anheng here, thirteen years old: young and vulnerable, living in the shantytown from his memories, where he endured beatings and abuse from his alcoholic father day after day. So Xie Anheng changed his name to Xie Xingzhi and claimed his older brother was secretly helping the boy. But the child was still beaten half to death by his drunkard of a father. He hid in a corner of the courtyard as rain poured down, and nearly died of a high fever. Xie Xingzhi immediately brought the boy home. From then on, he personally took care of everything, from food and clothing to schooling and tutoring, giving him anything he wanted. He raised the child to excel at everything, but the boy was too clingy. Even in high school, he insisted on following Xie Xingzhi everywhere. Xie Xingzhi thought this couldn't go on. Xie Anheng needed to grow up. Once the boy could stand on his own, Xie Xingzhi steeled himself and let go. He went overseas to treat the illness left behind by his rebirth, and cut off all contact with the boy. Xie Anheng rushed to the airport, but all he could do was watch the plane take off. He didn't know that, from that moment on, Xie Anheng's world would plunge once more into endless darkness. - A year later, Xie Xingzhi returned home and learned that the boy had become a powerful figure who ruled Manbei City. They met again at a banquet. Xie Anheng was surrounded by admirers, smiling and chatting. He glanced at Xie Xingzhi from across the crowd, his gaze cool and distant. The clingy little darling who used to hug his leg and beg him for bedtime stories had grown up completely. For some inexplicable reason, Xie Xingzhi felt a pang in his heart. He no longer wanted to stay the night at the banquet, so he made an excuse to leave. As soon as he opened the door, a tall figure blocked his way. Xie Anheng stood in the doorway. At the end of the corridor stretched an even longer hallway, empty and pitch-black behind him. With a gentle smile, he asked, "Brother, where are you hurrying off to this time?" #How did he grow up so wrong right under my nose?# #I raised him like my son, but somehow he turned into a jealous, possessive little boyfriend# [Reader's Guide] 1. This is a logic-free, write-what-I-want kind of story. The main story has a little hzc, and is an angsty, melodramatic roller coaster. The extra chapters include a purely sweet alternate timeline. Both are complete, so pick whichever suits your taste. Thanks. 2. No need to tell me if you drop the story. 3. The original blurb has been changed: the protagonist now transmigrates into another body as a soul, rather than physically. The explanation is in the author's note for Chapter 4. 4. Personal attacks on the author or characters will be reflected back tenfold. Argue all you like, I'm still right. 5. This is a fictional setting. Please don't relate it to real life. 6. The main story focuses only on the main couple's romance. Everything else is in the extra chapters. 7. I don't accept baseless plagiarism accusations. If you have evidence, show it.
