I Dug Up a Handsome Little Husband

Lu Yuchen was assigned the most troublesome project: traveling to a remote, barren desert to search for an ancient tomb dating back a thousand years. He found the tomb, all right, but the main coffin held an unparalleled beauty. A living one. The youth in the coffin had long, cascading hair, a red robe, and skin as smooth as jade. His dazzling, exquisite beauty could steal anyone's soul, yet his bright eyes were pure and innocent. "Holy shit..." Even Lu Yuchen's usually flirtatious colleague was stunned by the sight. He wiped his nose, only to find it covered in blood. But the beauty looked at Lu Yuchen, spread his arms, and cried joyfully, "Husband, you've finally come to take me home!" Lu Yuchen: "?" - Lu Yuchen was the only son of the wealthy Lu family, Q University's youngest historian, and the most sought-after bachelor among the prominent families of the capital. But he was cold and aloof, his gaze as icy as shards of glass. Countless young men and women had been turned away by him. He despised nothing more than clingy people who depended on others, and hated being interrupted while conducting research. Nothing could hold his attention for more than a glance, except ancient artifacts. Until one day, a young man knocked on the door of his laboratory and came in carrying a plate of snacks. "Husband..." Shen Ting bowed to him and set out the food. He timidly raised his head, gazing at Lu Yuchen with limpid eyes. "You've been working all day. Have something to warm your stomach?" The others didn't dare so much as breathe. They were terrified Lu Yuchen would fly into a rage and kick the beauty out. Lu Yuchen lowered his eyes and met Shen Ting's loving gaze and faintly flushed cheeks. He heard himself reply, against his will, "Mm. You've worked hard. Sit down and eat with me." Theme: Good and evil will always be repaid in kind.
