Tsundere, pragmatic general manager & fiery, scheming editor-in-chief

Question: What should you do if your new boss is your ex-wife?

Answer: Obviously, marry her again!

Cheng Yuke's first half of life was nothing but misery.

First, she worked herself to the bone to become editor-in-chief at a publishing company. Then, just a few years after marrying her same-sex partner, they divorced.

Who would have thought that three years later, her ex-wife would reappear as her new boss!?

So Cheng Yuke went straight for it: "Hey, wifey~"

Back then, they were both young and headstrong, and neither would back down. In the end, they turned their marriage into love's grave. When they met again, neither could bring herself to speak honestly about her feelings.

The warmer Cheng Yuke acted, the more warily Jiang Nianshan pushed her away. She was afraid of falling into the abyss again, afraid of being hurt all over again.

Cheng Yuke's heart died. She resigned from the company and disappeared from Jiang Nianshan's life, leaving her a gift behind.

Only then did Jiang Nianshan understand that in every year since Cheng Yuke had left, she had never forgotten. The person who had personally destroyed their relationship had been Jiang Nianshan herself.

Jiang Nianshan found out where Cheng Yuke lived. The instant the door opened, her eyes red, she said, "I don't want anyone but you."
