The Paladin Beyond Fate [Western Fantasy]

A Fallen Young Lady and Her Cold-Faced Butler

[Coming-of-age, adventure-focused Western fantasy]

[Welcome to the world of swords and magic]

When Mits was fourteen, her family was slaughtered on a full-moon night. The killer vanished without a trace, leaving her the sole survivor.

Just as Mits was overcome with grief, a white-haired woman suddenly appeared and took charge of the estate's affairs as her butler.

The butler always wore a cold expression, but she cared for Mits:

She told Mits stories when she couldn't sleep.

She tenderly cared for her when she was injured.

She joined her on a revenge journey filled with schemes and malice.

She had sworn to be loyal forever, until Mits realized that this loyalty came at a price.

But Mits had a way to make that loyalty hers forever, without conditions.

When Faitlis first took Mits into her care, she thought of her as nothing but an innocent young lady who had been frightened, at most.

But later, she discovered that Mits's veins carried the blood of the noble Cabel family: alluring, and dangerous.

Helping Mits fulfill her desire for revenge brought Faitlis's duty as a butler to an end, but she could no longer leave Mits's side.

At last, she understood that there was more in this little one's heart than hatred.

Mits drew her close and asked in a voice gentler than ever before, "Stay by my side. This is my final wish."

Faitlis: "As you wish, Your Majesty."
