"I don't know how to get along with people, and I don't intend to spend time figuring it out. Don't disrupt my life."

Those were Mu Xun's first words to her new wife.

==

Mu Xun, the only heir to the Mu family, has been emotionally detached and cold toward others since childhood. She was diagnosed with "emotional deficiency disorder."

The Mu family was thrown into chaos and searched everywhere for a doctor.

Some heartless quack gave them advice: getting married would fix it.

The Mu family took this to heart and immediately found Mu Xun a marriage partner of similar age and family background.

Her bride, Chi Xintang, is doted on by her family. She's bright, adorable, warm, and outgoing.

Someone like that seems completely out of place just standing next to Mu Xun.

A friend feels sorry for Chi Xintang and warns her, "Your wife is frigid. You'll have a miserable time with her!"

Chi Xintang: "Ten eggs? Oh my god ( ﾟдﾟ), you put ten eggs in your jianbing!"

The friend is speechless and tries again. "She's got a bad temper. She might even hit you!"

Chi Xintang: "Add more? I want it extra spicy, too. I love spicy crayfish~"

Friend: (._.)?

Mu Xun doesn't understand why Chi Xintang has so many emotions.

She also can't understand why Chi Xintang likes clinging to her, or how a simple "Good night" can make her happy for ages.

Gradually, Mu Xun starts looking forward to seeing her every single day.

Mu Xun likes every one of Chi Xintang's coquettish gestures and touches. She even finds Chi Xintang's sudden provocations amusing.

So when Chi Xintang asks for a divorce, Mu Xun feels as though her whole vibrant world is about to leave her.

She can't live without Chi Xintang.

But Chi Xintang can go on just fine without her.

Mu Xun when they first meet: So annoying, so loud. Can't you quiet down?

Mu Xun after falling in love: Wife, wife, wife, pay attention to me! :3

Chi Xintang: What do I do when my new wife won't stop making noise?
