An Unequal Crush

When Fang Nianchen was seventeen, she had a crush on an older female student.

The senior was poised and mature, the ultimate dream girl for lesbians. Fang Nianchen was just about to kick the closet door down and confess, when she heard that the senior had gotten a boyfriend.

Fang Nianchen promptly shut her heart away: "Stay away from straight girls, and you'll be happy for life!"

A few years later, they meet again, and the former senior is now her boss.

Yu Wan is cold to everyone, but she is exceptionally considerate toward Fang Nianchen. She brings her food and drinks, checks on her when she's sick, and even manages to run into her every day on the way to and from work.

Fang Nianchen can't handle this kind of attention. She's afraid of falling into the same trap again, but she can't resist Yu Wan's gentle advances either, leaving her caught in an endless dilemma.

One day, a colleague asks about her sexual orientation, and Fang Nianchen blurts out, "I'm straight!"

Yu Wan, passing by: ?

That evening, the two of them run into each other at a lesbian bar.

Yu Wan: ...Do straight girls all act like this?

Fang Nianchen: ...So you're not straight either!

Once again, Fang Nianchen goes into the office. A long time passes before she's sent back out, her face flushed.

Seeing Fang Nianchen looking dazed, her colleagues assume she's been yelled at into a stupor and rush to defend her.

But what they don't know is that all Fang Nianchen can think about is: Does getting bitten by your boss count as a workplace injury?
