Blurb 1:

When the classes were reassigned at the start of the new semester, Song Anqing was seated next to top student Tang Yuanqiu, and lost all her freedom.

Song Anqing skipped class, and Tang Yuanqiu chased her home to tutor her.

Song Anqing got into trouble, and Tang Yuanqiu took her to apologize to their teacher.

Song Anqing got beaten up, and Tang Yuanqiu... charged in with a stool!?

But Tang Yuanqiu had no idea how to fight. Song Anqing had to split her attention to protect her, and ended up battered and bruised before they were marched to the academic office.

Once released, Song Anqing yelled at her, "Tang Yuanqiu, I hate you!"

Top student Tang replied calmly, "Whatever. I don't need you to like me, either."

Song Anqing bristled with anger. "Then I'll like you anyway!"

That was how their feud began. Throughout high school, Song Anqing couldn't stand top student Tang, but she also listened to her more than anyone.

Tang Yuanqiu told her to study hard, so she stayed up late reading.

Tang Yuanqiu told her to be polite, so she fetched water for the teachers ten times a day.

Tang Yuanqiu said, "Let's go to the same university." She said, "Okay."

But before the college entrance exams, Tang Yuanqiu disappeared without a word.

Years later, at a high school reunion, Song Anqing pretended to get drunk and spent a night with the liar.

Seeing the other woman lost in the moment, Song Anqing pushed her away, her expression cold.

"Do you remember what I said back then? When I got into that fight."

Tang Yuanqiu said cautiously, "You said you hated me."

Song Anqing sneered. "It starts now."

The hate starts now.

The love is almost past its expiration date.
