Blurb:
Ban Zhao grew up in an orphanage and learned every rough-and-tumble trick in the book. She's fierce and bold, with a body as tough as iron.
After arriving in the cultivation world, her golden finger turns out to be weird and utterly ridiculous. Just look at the stuff it gives her!
One sniff of the suffocatingly pungent luosifen rice noodles fills her with spiritual energy.
One breath of this toxic stinky tofu can, and she instantly achieves enlightenment on the spot.
...Even ordinary salted duck eggs have superpowers!
Can't cultivate? Don't panic!
Watch Sister Zhao set up a stall, make a fortune, and see her cultivation soar to the heavens!
Until one day, she accidentally turns a powerful big shot into a duck egg.
The big shot: It barely does any damage, but it's incredibly insulting. Why not set up your stall at my cave abode instead?
[The author is terrible at writing blurbs. This is a lighthearted cultivation-and-farming story with a slice-of-life feel and a bit of absurd humor. I hope you enjoy it.]
Blurb for "Grandmaster, Stop Plucking My Leaves": Please add it to your reading list!
Left Shan transmigrates into the cultivation world as a blade of grass and binds to the Divine Plant System. Her goal is to survive in a powerful cultivator's herb garden, grow flowers, and transform into human form as soon as possible!
Later, she finally manages to grow a single flower. Just as she's imagining how beautiful she'll look in full bloom, someone picks her up and carries her away.
One day, Fan Wu, founding patriarch of the Yimu Immortal Manor, scans his medicinal garden with his spiritual sense and discovers a Mao Wei Luo racing through the garden. It dodges the young gardeners, finds a corner, and plants itself again. It often uses its leaves and branches to write on the ground, scolding the spirit plants in his garden.
He pulls up the grass and carries it back to his cave abode. After staring for a long while at the flower bud about to bloom on its head, he plucks it, tucks it into his sleeve, finds a flowerpot, and plants her in it.
Left Shan is so angry her leaves curl up, but she can only keep a low profile as a blade of grass. Later, when the man isn't looking, she sneaks out of the pot. She hasn't even made it to the door before he catches her.
Fan Wu sets out paper, ink, brush, and inkstone: Write your story!
Left Shan: ...I was so careful. How did I give myself away so completely?
Standing on the rice paper, Left Shan writes in big, sweeping strokes: "An ordinary Mao Wei Luo, all natural and harmless. I promise not to cause trouble for your spirit plants again."
Fan Wu: I said to write your story, not a letter of guarantee.
**
Fan Wu's soul was severely damaged. His spirit often scatters, and no matter how many rare medicines and ancient remedies he tries, nothing works.
A jade slip records: [The ancient miraculous plant Chi Yuan is the best remedy for gathering the soul and restoring the spirit. Simmer its roots in soup, make medicine from its flowers, then brew tea from its leaves, and the condition can be cured. Unfortunately, this plant went extinct long ago and is almost impossible to find...]
It also includes a detailed note: Chi Yuan resembles the ordinary weed Mao Wei Luo, though its flowers are slightly different. Before it blooms, it's almost impossible to tell them apart.
**
Fan Wu fiddles with a freshly made flowerpot and beckons: Come on, plant yourself in it!
Left Shan, whose flower bud has been plucked once again, walks off on her roots: I'm not going. I'll plant myself in the ground.
He picked her flower. There's no making it up to her now!
Much later, Left Shan is just one step away from fully transforming. The required conditions are: [Gather seven Chi Yuan flower buds that are on the verge of blooming, then refine them into medicine to complete the transformation.]
Left Shan humbly writes on the ground with her leaves: Big shot, what's Chi Yuan? Are its flowers easy to buy? Could you help me buy seven?
The head of the immortal manor happens to arrive to report on business. Seeing this, he laughs: "Chi Yuan went extinct long ago. The Grandmaster searched for thousands of years and never found any. There's nowhere to buy it!"
Left Shan is so heartbroken her leaves curl up. It seems there's no hope of ever becoming human.
Fan Wu smooths her leaves, then opens his palm. It smells of flowers, and there are exactly seven buds!
Left Shan: !!! Aren't these the flower buds you plucked from me?
Content warnings:
This is not a conventional cultivation novel and includes many original worldbuilding elements. It's a lighthearted, sweet 1v1 romance about mutual healing.
An aloof, proud, taciturn Grandmaster vs. a talkative heroine who can't speak but still can't keep quiet (revised and screenshot on June 4, 2023).
Theme: As long as you're willing to work hard, you can shine anywhere.
Those who dig holes without filling them will suffer from constipation for ten years
Is the author still going to fill this pit? It seems that the latest update is in 2021, and it is really heart-breaking to not see the follow-up????
Hi, I saw a pit. When will the filling in the pit be completed? Just wait...
Is this a trap for the author? No more updates? Why, no matter how well written it is, there are not many people reading it and there is no motivation.
I went, I saw a pit
I went, I thought it was a finished article
It looks good, the author please update
When will the author update?
Go ahead and beat up that old bitch, the old green tea bitch
Big, big, big, come on~~ (This is a hint, haha)
