A Human Girl and the Asura King

"Neither god, ghost, nor human, but a monster somewhere between gods and ghosts."

That is the unified verdict of the Six Realms on the Asura clan.

And the king of the Asura Realm is regarded as a monster among monsters.

They say he is bloodthirsty and mad, brutal and merciless. Displease him even slightly, and you will lose your head.

The Six Realms tremble at his name, and everyone lives in fear.

Cui Qingqing always thought that wherever she went, she was the one who didn't belong.

Her mother died in childbirth, and her father took another wife.

Though she was the Cui family's legitimate daughter, the family refused to acknowledge her and cast her aside in a courtyard on the estate.

In all her seventeen years, the first time her status as a legitimate daughter was recognized was when they sent her to marry in her younger sister's place, to the supposedly bloodthirsty, heartless Asura King.
