Let Go of My Red String

People often say a father's love is as solid as a mountain, but Meng Wanyi doesn't agree. She thinks fatherly love is hard to predict. You never know when the mountain might collapse. No one would believe it if she told them: her father, the Ziwei Emperor, got drunk one time and wrecked the Matchmaker's Temple, then tied her together with some woman she'd never met using a red string. It was like a freaking dream. On the day it happened, Meng Wanyi's wailing echoed through every corner of the underworld. She nearly cried her own Meng Po Manor to pieces. Her mental state collapsed, and she had just one thought: I, Meng Wanyi, would rather walk down the Yellow Springs Road and reincarnate than fall in love with a stranger! After several days of turning it over in her mind, Meng Wanyi couldn't sit still any longer. Determined to at least know what she was getting into before reincarnating, she went to find the woman she was tied to. The woman had delicate features, captivating peach-blossom eyes, and was absolutely beautiful. Meng Wanyi: "..." Maybe falling in love with a stranger wouldn't be so bad after all.
