The Charming Villain

A Cabbage Says: This is a short story. (For now, anyway. I might expand it and add more plot later.) Life doesn't give you much time to sit around having an internal monologue. If you love him, go get him. Eight years ago, Xie Ci had a ridiculous dream. The star of the dream was Lu Yan, who had grown up in the same courtyard as him. And that wasn't all: that very morning, Lu Yan walked in on him getting himself off with a mushroom. Xie Ci bolted, leaving Lu Yan standing there in a daze. Eight years later, Xie Ci and Lu Yan both entered the entertainment industry. A mix-up landed them both in the same movie about a same-sex relationship. After years apart, the two picked up where they'd left off. Their mutual crush, put on hold for eight years, was finally back on. Behind the scenes on set: The director sighed. "Xiao Ci, I need you to be inexperienced! Innocent! Have you ever even been in love?" Xie Ci raised an eyebrow. "Should I say yes or no?" The director snapped, "Tell the truth!" Xie Ci replied briefly, "No." The director fumed. "Then why are you so good at this?!" Xie Ci paused. "Natural talent." Hearing that, Lu Yan thought for a moment, took Xie Ci by the chin, and planted a big kiss on him. When he pulled away, he looked contentedly at Xie Ci's flushed cheeks. "Director, we're ready to start." Onlookers: You can do that?! Reading guide: All characters and events are fictional. A Cabbage Says: This is a cute little short story~ Theme:
