PUBG, Protect Me, Hurry!

This story is also known as The Top Students Who Pretended Not to Know Each Other with Their Lives on the Line Got Found Out A transfer student arrives at No. 2 High School. Word is that this transfer student is a total BKING: arrogant, conceited, and rude. The boys at No. 2 High School are collectively grinding their teeth: Who is this guy?! How dare he steal the spotlight from Brother Yan! Brother Yan, take him down! But Brother Yan doesn't take him down. So the boys decide to take matters into their own hands. On a lovely sunny day, they corner the transfer student in an alley. In the alley, Lin Yichen leans against the wall, eyes lowered, and tilts his head to light a cigarette. "Are you Lu Shiyan's friends?" Seeing his calm, unbothered manner, the boys lose it. "Yeah, so what? Why bring up Brother Yan? Are you looking down on us or something..." Lin Yichen exhales a wisp of smoke and calmly interrupts them. "I'm his boyfriend." Just then, a sudden fit of coughing comes from the alley entrance, as if someone had choked. Lin Yichen looks up and glances toward the sound. The moment he recognizes Lu Shiyan at the entrance, smoke catches in his throat and he coughs himself half to death. It feels like divine justice has just come crashing down on him. The boys are dumbfounded. They remain dumbfounded amid the two big shots' alternating bouts of coughing, with only one thought in their heads: awkward! Lu Shiyan walks into the alley without looking around and stops right beside Lin Yichen. In a voice only the two of them can hear, he says, "Should I expose you, or... help you keep up the act, Captain?" Lin Yichen: "..." Amusement glints in Lu Shiyan's eyes as he whispers in Lin Yichen's ear, "Call me Big Brother, and I'll help you." Lin Yichen looks up at him, completely unburdened. "Big Brother." Lu Shiyan: "..." I should've made you call me hubby. * * * Coming next: After the Dog Chewed Up the Love Letter In the esports scene, it's no secret that Shi Xu and Lin Siyue are incompatible by birth charts. They end up on the same team after a coach assigns them together for an esports variety show. It doesn't take long for them to live up to expectations and get into an argument. The mood in the conference room is awful. Shi Xu paces over to Lin Siyue and stops in front of him, his expression so cold he looks ready to punch him at any moment. Just as Lin Siyue thinks the only way to settle things is with a fight, Shi Xu suddenly pulls a letter from his pocket and hands it to him. It reads: Lin Siyue, I've liked you for a long time. Footsteps recede. Lin Siyue looks at the brief confession in the letter and, after a moment, raises an eyebrow ever so slightly. - One day, a beautiful commentator from the scene finds Shi Xu with her love letter. "You're the only person in the scene who has any connection to Lin Siyue. Please pass this letter to him for me. Don't make me get down on my knees and beg you." It's no trouble, Shi Xu thinks. But while imagination is lovely, reality is painfully thin: the dog at the team house chews up the love letter. And, as luck would have it, the signature is gone. That's quite a misunderstanding. * Theme: Keep at it, and run toward your dreams!
