[The ex begs to be taken back]
After their breakup, or more precisely, after Han Luo dumped Yu Qing through the silent treatment, Han Luo never once dreamed of Yu Qing.
The first time they met in a dream, Yu Qing was still gently comforting Han Luo. It's okay, it's all in the past. Forget about it. I don't blame you.
Then the vivid face that had once made Han Luo's heart race smiled and waved goodbye. Yu Qing turned away without looking back, vanishing from Han Luo's life for good.
Han Luo broke down in the dream, fully aware he was dreaming.
When Han Luo's assistant saw Yu Qing backstage at a recording, he looked at him with disdain and even a hint of wariness. Instinctively, he wanted to block him, as he would any crazed fan.
He thought Yu Qing had no shame. He had agreed to the breakup and taken the settlement money, so why was he still clinging on? Was he trying to make a scene and demand more money?
The superstar Han Luo clearly saw his ex too. He couldn't help frowning, annoyed.
Who knew Yu Qing hadn't even seen them? As soon as he appeared, an eager figure rushed over, hugged him, and dragged him away.
"Bro, what took you so long? I've missed you so much."
The voice belonged to a distinctive singer who had been all the rage lately.
He buried his head against Yu Qing like a clingy puppy, constantly acting cute. "Bro, let me kiss you, okay? I've missed you so much. I don't even want to work when you're not here. How about I quit and stay with you every day?"
Han Luo clenched his fist, about to go over and mock him.
The distinctive singer with a head of white hair shot him a glare and snapped, "What are you looking at? Never seen someone in love before?"
The first stirrings of love in youth are earth-shattering. One look was all it took for Han Luo to decide that Yu Qing was the one. He loved him passionately, and pursued him just as passionately.
But youthful arrogance won out. One day, Han Luo suddenly became popular, a celebrity of some note, and forgot who had stayed by his side through all the hard times.
Han Luo spoke sadly of his dreams, the stress at work, pressure from the company, and disappointing his fans. Every word hinted that they should break up.
Perhaps he was afraid people would say he'd struck it rich and abandoned his first love. Perhaps he didn't want to suffer a guilty conscience. Han Luo never said it outright, letting the silent treatment speak for him.
Yu Qing thoughtfully took the initiative to end things, and accepted financial compensation.
Han Luo visibly relaxed, his smile blooming as if to say, At last, I've taken care of this nuisance.
You stand onstage, admired by tens of thousands, while countless fireworks blossom for you.
But when night falls and all is quiet, do you ever dream of the boy in white beneath the parasol tree, from those days of youth, when you rode a white horse through falling blossoms and he turned back to smile at you?
